Probably my favorite photo I’ve taken. Took this from a little motor boat on the lake in Hallstatt, Austria. I love finding the quiet getaways when I travel vs the touristy city and this was the perfect spot for that. My first time seeing one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

Machu Picchu somehow exceeded every expectation. It felt surreal to finally stand here after seeing it in pictures for so many years. And just looking out the window on the way up and seeing the landscape unfold was so amazing.

One I’ll never forget. 🇵🇪

Rainbow Mountain and the Red Valley (Valle Rojo) were unforgettable. The photos don’t do either of them justice. Seeing so many animals roaming the mountains at nearly 17,000 feet made the experience even more memorable. 🇵🇪⛰️ taken in Rainbow Mountain Peru by @bennett_studios_

Day 1 of our Peruvian journey: Lima. 🇵🇪

It isn’t lost on me that we began this adventure with @widowstravel, and that I was able to bring @bennett_studios_ along for the travel days.

I keep thinking back to last year, when I made my way to Guatemala alone, armed with about 20 words of Spanish and a whole lot of nerves. So much has changed since then.

Traveling with the kids has become one of the most healing gifts in the wake of losing @saminthewoods. Every trip reminds us that even after loss, there is still beauty to discover, joy to share, and memories waiting to be made together.

Feeling grateful to be here, together, at the start of another adventure. ❤️ We wouldn’t be here without

Peru Day 1: 24 hours in Lima before heading to Cusco. We didn’t have much time to explore but we did do a long walk along the cost. Nolan really wanted to take flower pictures with @leahheffelfinger phone so I followed his lead and took some of my own taken in Lima, Perú by @bennett_studios_
