The crispness is finally in the air! 🍁🍂 Celebrate the first day of fall with a cozy cinnamon roll—because nothing says autumn quite like the smell of cinnamon and sugar. #bennisonsbakery by @bennisonsbakery

First and foremost, we are incredibly grateful that no one on our staff was hurt. Early this morning, our bakery was broken into along with a few of our neighbors and while we are still processing what happened, we are thankful to be safe and surrounded by such an amazing community.

We will be opening a little late today as we clean up and take care of things. Your kindness, support and words of encouragement mean more to us than we can put into words. Thank you for standing by us — we truly appreciate every one of you. ❤️ taken in Bennison's Bakery by @bennisonsbakery

the best part of a tuesday is stopping by the farmer’s market. here are some of my favorites in chicago:

@nicholsfarmandorchard produce- especially their sweet corn just makes any summer dinner more delicious

@bennisonsbakery my current weekly repeat is the glazed croissant but their baguettes and pretzel bread are also 👨🏻‍🍳💋

@ellisfamilyfarms berries & stone fruits & HONEY - we don’t skimp on picking up local honey for those allergies, honey 🍯

@gaylesbestever grilled cheese, pretty much every time I’m getting a classic with ham but you do you

i love shopping local when i can & supporting the growers near us who care for our communities. also shoutout to my lovely coworker who grabbed me a lil bouquet this morning 💐🫶
