Dad,

You taught me what hard work really is. I will miss all the times we went and moved pianos, even though in the moment I couldn’t dread it more. Everytime I said no to helping you move a piano I wish I could take that back. What I would give to move a piano with you one more time. You did whatever you had to do to provide for me, mom, and Gigi. I will always admire your work ethic and I hope to have just a shred of it within me. You loved music and you handed that down to me. Everytime you touched the keys of a piano it was like magic. I couldn’t help but smile ear to ear even if I tried to hide it. Thank you for that. Anyone who knew my dad knew just how good his sense of humor was. He was always laughing or cracking a joke and could make light of dark moments. I hope to be just a sliver as funny as you are dad. You were always so quick with your one liners, and I’m so happy we got to bond over The Office and “That’s what she said.” You always supported me with my crazy car dreams, and you always told me how proud you were of me. It was my lifes dream and my biggest goal to put you back in a Porsche 911. Thank you for influencing me to love Porsche, and always being there at my events for work. I will never give up searching for your car, and I have the best help in the world. Everytime I see a cool Porsche it’s in my muscle memory at this point to send you a picture of it. How I wish I could today. I’m so glad that we were able to bond over cars throughout the time God gave us with you. I love you dad and I’ll always carry you with me. I hope you are putting on a show in Heaven, and driving Porsches. - Benny Jack by @benny_jackk
