Advancing creativity and economic vitality in the historic Benson community.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Oregon-based filmmaker Brad Bischoff made the trip to Omaha for the 2026 Benson Film Festival. Not only did he take home the Benson’s Best award for his film, Mom and Dad Live in Different Houses, Brad left with a weekend of new connections and a lasting sense of belonging in the Benson Creative District. 📽️

“Can't express enough how amazing this festival experience was. The theater experience was outstanding (sound and vision), the crowds were packed and engaging with thoughtful discussions afterward, and the community gatherings were inspiring.”

Thanks, Brad! We can't wait to get you back out here. 😃

🤦‍♂️ a guy sent virtuoso hundreds of hate emails and an ai picture over one slice of pizza. so we turned it into a sticker. ❤️

here’s what happened. he ordered a pizza, ate it, said he liked the crust, then wanted his money back. when david said no he lost it. spammed them on every platform he could. then he sent an ai image of chefs holding signs that said virtuoso pizza is not real pizza and told david it should be spread around benson. +spelled benson wrong.🤔

david didn’t argue. he sent the image to me and asked if i could turn it into a sticker. this family has been feeding benson for years and fed me for free when i was broke at the skate shop. so yeah. i took his exact picture and turned every chef into a weird little creature.❤️

he used ai. david used a real artist from the neighborhood. that’s benson.❤️❤️❤️

stickers are at virtuoso. go get a slice.🍕

Your favorite local band has a van, a merch table, & a guy named Travis. I have a lockbox key & opinions about your kitchen. 😂🙌

It’s felt like the PNW for weeks, so it’s glorious to see that sunshine & not have it be 110 degrees & 90% humidity which makes for an amazing night for Benson First Friday & Giant Joy Collective’s 2nd Annual Handmade Parade!

Triple H plays BFF tonight at the Benson Theatre! Come say hi to your Realtor BFF. 👯
