I am so excited to have An Nguyễn-Xuân formerly the Chef/Owner of the beloved Vietnamese restaurants Bếp and Bếp Gà (@bep_kitchen @bepganyc ) in New York join us in the kitchen at Đi ăn Đi for our first collaboration. For those who know An or his former restaurants, An’s French-Vietnamese POV is the perfect complement to our Vietnamese-American food at Đi ăn Đi! Come eat, drink and be merry with us a week from Monday!

To all our friends in Paris, mark on your calendar come this thursday June 17th screening of the pilot of that docu fiction mini serie called “BANH MI QUEST”. We are so glad to be part of that project directed by our friend @nan_feix that took place in our beloved New York Chinatown pre covid. We can finally release it so come by this Thursday on 27 rue Notre Dame de Nazareth for the release party for some Banh Mi slinging by @chefsez_ aka @monsieurwolf good music/ good vibe….. like in Chinatown. by @bepganyc

Congratulations for the opening and amazing design work @riceandmisoeveryday @obfluent. For past 5 years we were custodian of this “Chicken Emporium” at 70 Forsyth St. We were lucky to feed thousands of hungry bellies. We built a great community and friendship with many of you. We are so happy and glad Rice and Miso is taking the relay to spread the same vibe and love for good food! To our loyal and supportive friends and customers:
We regret to inform you that Bep Ga’s adventure will come to a final end on December 24th (after lunch service). While providing just a few of our favorite chicken dishes for the past 4 years, we have been so fortunate to meet new friends, share our love of Vietnamese cuisine, and receive accolades from the press but also being a platform for young Vietnamese chefs. It has been an honor to serve you and be part of the LES/Chinatown community. We would like to thank our Bep Ga family — those who took part in its creation and daily operations, helping to make it a success especially @bakedszeto @andresaraiva
We are saddened to share that one of the people who played a big part in our success but also to other Vietnamese chefs in the city by providing us with great ingredients and produce, just passed away. Cô Phụng, from the local grocery store Ken Hing Food Market aka Sieu Thi Viet Nam became a part of our extended family. In remembrance of her, we encourage you to shop at her store before they also close.
Bep Ga comes to an end in 2020, but WE will be BACK in 2021 with a new exciting project still in the same line of Eating healthy, be Physically healthy and Mentally Healthy. Stay tuned....

We are very excited to host this charming couple @nhungdaohead @jeraldhead in residency for their food project called @mam.nyc. They will be serving a very special dish Bún Đậu Mắm Originating from Northern Vietnam. The residency will start this week (Saturday and Sunday 4pm-10pm). Show some love to Vietnamese food and support to this couple. Wesh wesh!!! Serving for lunch Banh Mi chicken Merguez!!! Why merguez in a Banh Mi? Back story.... the chef An is Vietnamese who grew up in France but his father’s family after leaving Vietnam lived in Tunisia (north Africa-Maghreb) before settling in France. North African cuisine always been staple alongside Vietnamese and French cuisine in his family. That Merguez Banh Mi is really telling a story of his culinary background. At Bep Gà everything is chicken so we got our Morrocan Butcher who made us some Chicken merguez with a good kick of Harissa. The exceptional baguette is provided by our friend baker @labicyclettebakery_nyc. Will serve daily but limited amount per day! #merguez #banhmi #banhmimerguez .
