🚨 new bersletters design resource alert! 🚨

I’ve been going on about this on twitter for months now but haven’t really brought it over to bersletters - for those of you who don’t know, I’ve fallen in love with collecting and discovering flickr galleries of vintage design ephemera. There’s thousands of galleries of scanned paper, records, magazines and more just sitting over there and I’ve been compiling links to my favorite galleries on a google doc for a year now.

As a self taught designer, combing through these has been a great education for me and has turned into a pretty amazing reference in many ways. I majored in history in college so this has also been a fun way to engage with that part of my brain as well.

I’ve added the link to the document in my bio - check it out if you want waste a few hours or to escape the oroboros of pinterest! It’s all yours!

I also have an ig account where i pluck out some of my favorite finds if you want a more condensed reference! @bersletters_things by @bersletters

Hey guys! A lot of you have seen from my story BUT I created a google sheet where designers/artists can anonymously add what they charge (hourly and project-based) as well as advice for fellow freelancers. Information like this is so hard (and frustrating!!) to find without a solid network so hopefully this will be helpful to young freelancers as well as people who just want to get a sense of what they should be charging. Feel free to reach out with any questions/suggestions and please share widely! The more info on there the more valuable the resource becomes! Let’s help each other! 🤝
