As a survivor of multiple sexual assaults, specifically being drugged and raped and in reflection of my dear friend @king_lexie recent post and the horrific details of the #cornell7, it reminded me of the time I took a man home that went into K hole at a casual exhibition in Hackney, he was left at the end of the night still incapacitated, although only an acquaintance at the time and sadly someone who is no longer with us, he was a great yoga teacher who I regularly attended his class. Unbeknownst to me he photographed the table i set up for him and sent it to his best mate.

For me this was a basic act of kindness of how I would want to be treated if i had somehow ended In that state. I remember at the time thinking on how unsafe it would have been if he was a woman and not a 6foot 2man.. I’d left him painkillers, a toothbrush, towel and water and tea and a note so he knew where he was including the address for him to get a cab home.

I’m not posting this as a self congratulatory post but as an example of what I think is a basic human responsibility to care for others in vulnerable states and also as an example of the simple fact that women should be also safe to be in any state and be looked after… also my note is hilarious’ sorry for my mental flat’ #iamjanedoe by @bert_gilbert_official

I’m back from china which was also wild and needs a Substack of its own.. In the meantime the Peru story continues and while I was away I discovered thanks to @matthabusby that the foundation i went to was busted last year by journalist @jules Evans.. wild to read how similar one women’s experience was to mine and all around the same time i went.. Infact the policy they brought in about male facilitators and relationships was due to my extensive complaints, wildly validating to see in writing what I went through confirmed after I was gaslit so badly by Carlos Tanner who told me the abuse was ‘ part of my shamanic journey in life’ alongside the rest of the community and the lead facilitator.. .. day 8 now up on substack, please like and follow and support if you can..it’s only going to get more twisted ..🤓🏴‍☠️😅 #psychedelic #teatime #karma-gets-you-in-the-end🦾🦾🦾🦾🦾👁️👁️👁️ by @bert_gilbert_official
