Long overdue photo dump. I spent 10 days in London recently with my fam (@bridge_of_bones and @rosabransky) and it was restorative in so many meaningful ways. To spend that time eating meals, telling stories laughing, hanging shelves (lol) with them and their Littles and just being with chosen family was the most incredible gift. I miss the UK, a lot. But I'm so grateful I managed to see many people I care deeply about. And it was just a beautiful reminder to hold those you love close to your heart.

ANNOUNCEMENT IKLECTIK LIVE: Costumes of Sound We're happy to share a new addition to this month's Costumes of Sound event, who will be leading the dancefloor playing filthy, bass‑driven, sexy, dark house, electro and ecstatic party tunes for queer spaces in London and internationally Don't miss IKLECTIK's presentation of artist's exploring the relationships between wearable art and sound. We look forward to the 23rd, bringing you an evening of performances, DJ sets, and exhibitions. ARTIST FOCUS 🔎 - @bert_gilbert_official Bert Gilbert is a transdisciplinary artist and DJ whose work moves between ritual, sculpture, sound and performance. Her visual and performance work is rooted in esoteric mystery rites, somatic storytelling and the aesthetics of trauma and transformation, invoking liminal thresholds and asking who gets to cross them, and under what conditions. As a DJ, she cut her teeth on vinyl in early‑00s Shoreditch institutions and has since become an intuitive rave‑maker and late‑night mistress of ceremonies. Alongside this, her ongoing project Sensoring the Censor is a dedicated healing practice that seeks to reclaim individual and collective heart–brain coherence through the esoteric power of art, sound, ritual and sensory incubation, using the club and the oracle chamber as contemporary sanctuaries for nervous system reset, dreaming and altered states of being. Photography by @magdalenasiwicka Tickets now live on DICE - General Admission £15 / Concessions £12 / Supporter £20 📍 IKLECTIK, London 🗓 23rd May

More important content 😏This weeks episode with special guest Keri Perkins and her dog Kali discusses the tedium of getting paid on time amongst other vaguely related topics and once again descends into filth, Keri Perkins is a cultural strategist and speaker working at the intersection of creativity, culture, and wellbeing. She created the Nando’s Black Card (yes, the chicken one), reshaping how brands connect with artists including Stormzy, Ed Sheeran, and Little Simz. The plot twist? After serving as Global Head of Communications at Nando’s, she became a vegan yoga teacher. Today, she advises brands across art, music, and culture on strategy and communications, while also having her own wellbeing and sound brand called Healing Sound System. She has spoken at Tate Late, the House of Commons, International Music Summit, Brighton Music Conference, and ADE about the benefits of yoga and music on the nervous system and serves as a board member of Bridges for Music in South Africa, supporting its work empowering young people through music and education. @weareboogiesound
