What an unforgettable evening watching my incredible friend @pilanibubu perform at Hugh’s Jazz Club.

I knew she would be brilliant—but nothing prepared me for this. It was soulful, spiritual, powerful and wonderfully entertaining. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever experienced anything quite like it. Pilani, you held that entire room in the palm of your hand. An extraordinary talent, an absolute force—and every inch a queen. 👑

And Hugh’s! What an unexpected jewel in the heart of Braamfontein—an utterly spectacular venue with the most incredible atmosphere and views across Joburg.

Thank you, Pilani, for a truly magical evening. You completely blew us away. ✨

Zanzibar, you were food for the soul. 🌴🤍

There was something about this beautiful island that went far beyond the turquoise water, endless swims, snorkelling, sunshine and, of course, a few very good piña coladas. 🍹

It was the simplicity of life that stayed with me. Being outside. Being in the ocean. Slowing down. Learning a little Swahili. And most of all, meeting people whose kindness, warmth and generosity of spirit were genuinely humbling.

Sometimes travelling reminds you how little you actually need to feel completely alive.

Sun on your skin. Salt in your hair. Bare feet. Beautiful water. Laughter. Good food. Kind people. And time simply to be.

Tanzania was incredible, but Zanzibar found a very special place in my heart. I came home feeling grateful, grounded and very, very full. ❤️

Asante sana, Zanzibar. 🇹🇿

Dar es Salaam, you were an absolute treat 🇹🇿✨

A weekend filled with old friends, incredible food and those wonderfully spontaneous moments that make a trip unforgettable.

Wandering through the fish market and gem shops, bringing home the freshest crayfish and giant prawns and cooking up a feast, then being completely spoilt with the most incredible sushi made for us at home by our own sushi chef. 🦞🍤🍣

Days on the water, water sports, an island escape, sunshine, laughter, long conversations and lots of catching up with friends we don’t get to see nearly enough.

Sometimes the best weekends aren’t about ticking things off a list. They’re simply about good friends, fabulous food, new experiences and being completely present in the moment.

Thank you family Bax! 🤗 What a wonderful few days in Dar. ❤️🇹🇿

Celebrating Women’s Day weekend with our wonderful friends Tumi and Keith, at our little neighbourhood gem, Embark — the most unassuming spot just down the road, serving some of the most outstanding food. Who knew we had something this special right on our high street?

Long lunches, lots of laughter, fabulous food and the very best company. Sometimes the perfect day really is this simple. 🥂✨

Feeling very grateful for good friends, good times and these little pockets of joy close to home.

Sometimes a day means so much more than it appears to. ✨

Saturday’s Women’s Day Design Show at Manor House was one of those days.

After a couple of very difficult years, there was a time when I simply stopped creating. Jewellery — something that had been such a huge part of my life for so many years — somehow went quiet too.

And lately, little by little, I’ve felt that creative spark coming back.

Saturday felt like another piece of me clicking back into place.

To everyone who came to see me, supported me, tried things on, bought pieces, chatted, laughed and shared the day with me — thank you. Some of you came from across Johannesburg, and one wonderful client even drove all the way from Pretoria. I can’t tell you how much that meant.

There’s something about the people who make the effort to show up. As life changes, you begin to understand just how precious they are.

The day was full of colour, energy, friendship, beautiful jewellery and so much warmth — and I came home feeling inspired to create again.

Perhaps that’s what this chapter is really about.

Not going backwards.
Not trying to recover who you were.
But rediscovering the parts of yourself that were never really gone.

Thank you to everyone who was part of such a special day. And here’s to creating again. ✨

Some days fill your camera roll. Others fill your soul. 🤍

Yesterday was one of those days.

15 kilometres through the breathtaking Magaliesberg to Castle Gorge with the best company, endless blue skies, spectacular views, plenty of laughs… and a reminder that there’s nothing quite like spending a day immersed in nature.

My legs are definitely reminding me of every kilometre today 😅, but I’d do it all again in a heartbeat.

Here’s to good friends, fresh air, and adventures that leave you tired in the very best way. 💙🥾⛰️

Sometimes the best afternoons are the ones that bring together wonderful people, incredible food, and a little nostalgia. ❤️

Yesterday we celebrated Nestor’s birthday at the legendary Yeoville Dinner Club—a hidden gem tucked away on Rocky Street, a place that instantly transported many of us back to our teenage years. Once the heart of our nights out, Rocky Street has certainly changed over the years, but what an incredible surprise to find something so special flourishing there today.

Our host, a former radio DJ and cinematographer turned extraordinary chef, created the most unforgettable African fusion feast. Every dish was a celebration of flavour, drawing inspiration from Mozambique, Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa and beyond. Add in delicious cocktails, beautiful attention to detail, and a table full of laughter, and it was one of those afternoons you wish could last just a little longer.

Happy Birthday, Nestor! 🥂 Thank you for bringing us all together for such a memorable experience. Here’s to good friends, amazing food, and discovering magic in the most unexpected places.

🇳🇱🧡 Last night was all about football, friendship, and a little bit of Dutch pride.

Watching the Netherlands take on Sweden, surrounded by wonderful friends, good conversation, plenty of laughter, and a sea of orange. These are the moments that remind me how much I love the Dutch word gezellig.

There’s no perfect English translation for it. It’s cosy, warm, welcoming, connected, fun, and full of good people enjoying each other’s company. It’s not just a feeling — it’s an atmosphere.

A great match, great company, and a thoroughly gezellige evening cheering on our boys in orange. 🧡🇳🇱⚽

What an incredible two days it’s been! ✨

I’ve had the absolute pleasure of meeting so many wonderful women, reconnecting with familiar faces, introducing my latest jewellery collections, and sharing conversations, laughter, bubbles and a few well-deserved gin & tonics along the way.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support this beautiful event. The response has been amazing, and because of the overwhelming turnout, we’ll be OPEN AGAIN TOMORROW! 🎉

Another trip around the sun… and what a beautiful one it has been. ✨

This weekend I was surrounded by some of the most wonderful, kind, interesting, generous, funny and supportive people I know. My Mad Hatter’s Tea Party was everything I hoped it would be and more.

There was laughter, dancing, storytelling, cake, music, endless conversations, and the kind of joy that only comes from being in a room full of people who genuinely care about one another.

I was overwhelmed by the thought, effort and love that went into every detail. From beautiful gifts and heartfelt messages to a spectacular birthday cake made with so much care, I felt incredibly spoiled and deeply loved.

A special thank you to my son for creating the perfect playlist, and to my amazing husband, who helped bring it all together. Without him, none of it would have happened.

As I look ahead to this next chapter, I feel grateful, hopeful and excited for what lies ahead. If there is one thing I have learned, it is that life becomes richer when you invest in good people, meaningful friendships, shared experiences and moments of genuine connection.

My heart is full.

Thank you to everyone who celebrated with me, cheered me on, sent messages, and continues to be part of this extraordinary journey.

An art-filled weekend in Johannesburg… and the absolute highlight for me was the RMB Latitudes Art Fair at Shepstone Gardens. Honestly, one of my favourite events of the year.

The most extraordinary setting, beautiful art, inspiring conversations, wonderful people, and that rare kind of creative energy that leaves you feeling completely expanded afterwards. Between private viewings, exhibitions, and wandering through the fair itself, it was one of those weekends that reminds you how deeply art, beauty, and connection matter.

Amsterdam, you have my heart 🤍

We arrived straight into the beautiful chaos of King’s Day — music, laughter, orange everywhere, and that unmistakable energy that only this city knows how to hold.

From there, the week just unfolded into something really special…
Long lunches with family, time with dear friends, cycling through streets that feel so familiar, walking endlessly, talking, laughing — just being.

Spring in Amsterdam is something else. The light, the air, the sense that everything is quietly coming back to life… it gets under your skin in the best way.

Time with my husband and son, surrounded by people I love, in a place that always feels like home — it’s hard to put into words how much this week meant.

Already dreaming of coming back. 🇳🇱
