The Lambton Worm (2026)

Commissioned by Omega Ensemble @omegaensembleau as part of the 2026 CoLAB program. Recorded live at ACO on the pier 14/08/26.

So so excited to share this recording!! This piece follows the story of a 14th century legend from County Durham in North-East England, which details the battle between townsperson John Lambton and a dragon who terrorises the local village. This is the last few bars of build before the dragon is slain and we’re propelled back into the main theme.

The full piece is now on my YouTube channel (link in bio)!!

MASSIVE thanks to Omega Ensemble for making this one happen, truly such a fun and educational experience. by @beth.r0che

Going to try to be a bit better at sharing original music so here’s a bit of a piano piece I wrote last year.

The work is called River’s Edge and it’s the first instalment in a series of short pieces about bushwalking. It reflects on the feeling of standing on the bank of a river and becoming completely engrossed in the hypnotic flow of the water.

Thank you @a_dri3l @adrielsukumar.composer for the recording 🙏🙏

Hello Sydney folk ! Announcing a Jazzy Joni Duo at Django bar next month ✨️

We'll be playing the classics, of course I'll break out the dulcimer, but @beth.r0che will also be paying tribute to Jaco Pastorius as we tackle some of the jazzier Joni tunes !

Hope to see you there 🌼 by @beth.r0che

Was looking back through some old projects and thought this one was kind of fun- I don’t usually do electronic stuff but I remember having a good time with this one! Used a sample of a champagne glass being struck and a knife being sharpened for a lot of the sounds.

I love this animation so much, it’s number 7 of a series called Early Abstractions by Harry Smith and it was created with stickers and paint on filmstock which is just the coolest thing ever I reckon. It originally had no sound and it was created somewhere between 1950-1952. by @beth.r0che
