It’s impossible to put into words where this journey has brought me, but it’s worth giving it a go. 2024 was the hardest year of my life, harder than anything I thought I could make it through. Losing my bestie has been an indescribable amount of pain that I battle everyday. Something I haven’t shared with many is that when G passed I didn’t think I would be able to make it through the year and had plans to pause my study. The only reason I didn’t was that I didn’t want the shame of dropping into a different cohort, and wanted to graduate with my girls. Even though I’ve got through the other side now, I still wonder if that was the right decision to make. That being said, I’m so proud of myself for persevering and proving that I can do hard things. To my girls, supervisors, class, Ra, friends, G’s family, and those that carried me through this, I am endlessly grateful for your love, support, and mentorship. I wouldn’t have done it without you.

Class of 2025, I am so grateful to have graduated with you, and you should be so proud of yourselves too x by @beth.torr
