Born in June 2023 with Cornelia de Lange Syndrome, a genetic condition that affects development and can include limb differences, Hazel spent her first five weeks in the NICU at OU Children’s Hospital.

When she needed additional feeding support, her family turned to Bethany Children’s, where she joined our inpatient Thrive Feeding Program through Transitional Care.

From the beginning, our team surrounded Hazel and her family with compassionate care, encouragement, and support, helping Hazel work toward important milestones while giving her family confidence along the way.

Today, Hazel continues to make progress and celebrate new milestones with the support of her outpatient therapy team. 💛

Hadley is heading home! 🏠🧡🎉

After being admitted to our Pediatric Medical Rehabilitation Unit following a car accident, Hadley has made incredible progress through hard work and determination.

“From the day Hadley was admitted, she was determined. She faced many obstacles and worked daily to meet her goals. As a team, we could not be more proud of Hadley and all she has accomplished,” shared therapy team lead Melanie Milbourn.

We’re so excited to celebrate this milestone with Hadley as she heads home + begins her next chapter!
