Works in progress: I’m exploring the theme of “relevance “ by revisiting old analog works and seeing how they work today- on a personal and global level- by utilizing digital tools available today to manipulate them. My approach is much like I would approach a large piece of paper on the wall with “primitive “ tools - a stick of burnt wood and an eraser and my hands to smudge and tear - but in digital form. Keeping it clunky and continuing the conversation I had with the original drawing some 25 (?)years ago. The original drawing “Triple Fate” is 48”x60” and is in the @margaretarnette56 collection. This version of it will be in the “Recovery Pool” body of work I am currently working on.( as part of the larger “Relevance” body.) @eveofdistraction by @bethbjasperart

The debut of one of my new directions/medium …the incipient state in the “Incipience” show @artworksrva . Projecting animations ( in this case, animations of new ideas being tested - contracting and expanding - some discarded, some birthed, some just staying in incubation) and the projection coming from a nest - another incubator reflecting. So combining my painting with digital with 3-D structure. Been incubating this idea for a while and look forward to developing more of these in the future. Bowery and side nests and tub created as a collaborative effort by @brinkolioli, @marzeliax, @ryancarlsonart and @stirthenight And I appreciated the assistance from @ebowies @herrsuite and @stove_ovenmitz with my projection nest. : ) by @bethbjasperart
