I’ve been painting Beanie Babies recently. The artwork represents the passage of time. The impermanence of everything having its season. Coming and going. It’s like the still life paintings of flowers representing the passage of time. Something beautiful but frail and the fleeting nature of life.

Beanie Babies brought so much joy to my childhood in the 1990s. That time is gone but the joy they brought can still be felt today.

Hi friends! My name is Beth. I’m an artist who paints whimsical acrylic paintings. I love using a variety of colors for highlights and shadows. Painting makes me feel alive.

My art invites you to have fun and play in your everyday life 💛🩵🩷 I love playing with legos, watching the Muppets, eating cheese, and playing tennis. 🎾

I’ve been working through The Artists Way by Julia Cameron with an incredible support group recently. I’m so excited to see where it leads me. And to finish the book for the first time!?

I’m always working on being more present and in the now. It’s fun to play and create. I recommend you trying it out 💛 taken in Charlotte, North Carolina by @bethcoxstephens

I remember passionately singing “on my own pretending he’s beside me” my whole childhood. Here’s the beautiful dog named for best lonely girl in Les Mis

Day 13: NALA

Got a little busy today and distracted almost didn’t draw a dog. But decided to just go for it anyway

My beloved precious baby angel dog growing up was named Nala. This adorable dog is also named Nala. And my favorite number is 13, so on the 13th day with lack of motivation Nala felt like the very best pup to draw ✍️ 🩷🥹 taken in Charlotte, North Carolina by @bethcoxstephens

Day 10: MILO

- I skipped Saturday and Sunday, but I’m really okay with that. I’ll still make 100 dogs.

Milo is such a cutie! I loved staring at his sweet little face in @hex.clt this morning! It was so fun to work in Hex and be around people. @void_art_clt thank you so much for the adorable reference photo! 🥹
