We went to the cutest little event yesterday! CHNO coffee & Brick Pop partnered together for a brews and bricks event. They had a lot of lovely local vendors that I tagged in this video so you should check them all out! Y'all know I always recommend CHNO for a coffee shop because they're family friendly, and I'll bet you never get a bad coffee there. But now I have to recommend brick pop for your events! This would be the most special birthday party idea for your little architect in training 🤩 #clt #saxeinthecity #cltnc #events #kidfriendly

This past Friday was the opening of Divine Masculine at @goodyeararts curated by @onlyfromem and @molocinus 🖤❤️ I got to be alongside 40 or so other artists and create a piece and poem with a prompt that feels necessary to highlight and discuss, even more so with current headlines. Everyone did a phenomenal job, and I enjoyed the reflection and feelings that came with each piece I spent time in front of. So many different viewpoints and experiences I am grateful I got to bear witness to and discuss with some of the their creators. I’m never going to get over being in rooms and shows like these 🥹 This piece of mine is called “Blooming in Spite” and will be available for purchase and viewing pleasure at @goodyeararts until 10/31 🖤❤️

Instead of our usual single print drop this month, we’re offering a four-piece of 5×7 prints by Charlotte-based painter Beth Cox Stephens (@bethcoxstephens) that will add a dose of seasonal nostalgia to your walls! These are printed on gorgeous Mohawk Superfine stock with an eggshell finish, with each signed by the artist. Each printer has a .25-inch border. Prints run $50 plus tax per 4-print set containing “Ghost Nugget,” “Dracula Nugget,” “Frankenstein Nugget,” and “Mummy Nugget,” and are very limited in quantity.
