Back with Cafe Guide Part 6!

Compiled a quick list of some spots I’ve visited recently. Save this for your next weekend cafe hop!

A coffee shop and florist in one! You can grab a coffee and a mini bouquet packaged right into the cup holder. How cute is that! 💐

A cozy new addition to Tin Hau’s cafe scene. It’s the kind of place where you can just grab a pour-over, enjoy some comforting pastries, and chill out for hours.

Cute daytime cafe for pastries that turns into a live jazz lounge at night. Definitely worth checking out their evening sets!

A cozy Japanese style dessert cafe specializes in anything matcha.

A fun retro-pop, space-age-inspired spot. Plus it’s pet friendly, so you can bring your furry friend along for a relaxed coffee date.

Love the relaxing wooden interior, their cute latte art and freshly made toasts are the perfect weekend combo.

Worth the ferry ride. A super cozy, slow-paced cafe that feels like a true getaway from the city.

Great aesthetic and a super comfortable atmosphere. Perfect for some weekend lounging.

Great spot to grab a quality coffee and a pastry when you need a breather in Central.

Exactly what the name promises. The go to spot for a really good, no fuss caffeine fix. by @betterwithmatcha

They say Mount Kailash changes you, and now I understand why. 52km, reaching altitudes of 5,650m.

I’m not a religious person, but doing the Kailash Kora during the 2026 Year of the Horse (where blessings are multiplied 13x ) was the most profoundly humbling experience of my life.

This was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but my heart has never been so full. Swipe to see the journey. 🤍

Have you ever done something that pushed you completely past your limits? Tell me about it below! taken in Mount Kailash by @betterwithmatcha

A night at pintxos, swipe for some good tapas!

Quick outfit check before the food arrives.

Cheers to the weekend 🥂

Started the night with crab and avocado tostada, fresh and crispy bite.

Scallop with green pepper gazpacho. A refreshing one.

Catching some kitchen action.

Squid fritters topped with caviar 🖤

The lazy omelette with prawns, flavourful and so comforting.

This burrata and zucchini salad with truffle honey vinaigrette was really nice!

Chicken leg with baby carrots and jus, that was so juicy.

Always save room for dessert 😌The gooey baked cheesecake with blueberry jam. Definitely one of my absolute favorites of the night!

I’ve been eating good in Seoul lately, and these are the spots that immediately made it to the group chat!

Drop “SEOUL” in the comments and I’ll automatically DM you the full list with all the locations ;)

The most zen little tea house to visit after going @mmcakorea

Make sure to head up to the second floor for their skincare line.

Hidden-alley vibes and I am still thinking about that perilla seed noodles.

🤌🏻🤌🏻

Stumbled upon this spot completely by accident and it was the best pleasant surprise.

Whatever this creamy corn and gnocchi situation is... so good! 🌽 🥔

THE PLACE for some legit korean pancakes!

I didn’t get to try their famous honeycomb makgeolli this time, but I hear it’s an absolute must-order if you go!

They open till 1:30am! Perfect for a late night sweet treat and drinks.

Also all the furnitures here are actually for sale 🪑

DIY grilled seafood right at your table.

The staff here were incredibly friendly, and honestly, for the amount of fresh seafood you get, it is insanely affordable.

I almost felt bad eating these little bear pastries because they’re just too cute. Almost.

🐻 🤎

A Seoul must have every single time I visit. When you’ve been eating heavy meals and your stomach just needs a warm, comforting reset, this always hits the spot.

Simply cannot do a trip to Seoul without a proper chimaek (fried chicken and beer) night.

🍗 🍺

A little slice of an Italian summer.

Such a lovely place for when you want to switch things up with some pasta and wine 🍋 by @betterwithmatcha

Back at Uncle Quek to check out their new era! With Executive Chef Irfan Rao now at the helm, they’re taking their classic Singaporean roots and elevating them with rich South Asian spices. The whole spread was incredible, but these four completely stole the show:

Cereal Fried Chicken: A nod to classic Singaporean zi char. The sweet, salty crust tossed in that aromatic, slightly citrusy curry leaf butter is just perfect.

Burrata D.O.P.: Instead of balsamic, they use a tangy, spiced Nepalese-style achar that cuts right through the rich cheese, topped with pistachios for crunch.

Baby Sweet Potato: Honestly the biggest surprise of the night. The natural sweetness paired with spicy, umami-rich sambal butter and a light, airy coconut espuma is an unreal flavor combo. Do not skip this!

Masala Chai Panna Cotta: The perfect spiced finish. They steep the cream with warm chai spices, giving you all the comfort of a post-dinner tea in a silky dessert.

Highly recommend checking out the new menu!

Not gatekeeping this newly opened froyo spot, because let’s be honest it’s still too warm here in HK and we all need this sweet treat!

Chill Hill just soft opened last weekend on Hill Road, and it is tucked inside of an aesthetic self-service laundromat. The idea is that while your laundry spins, you can treat yourself to a little froyo break, how clever is that!

The best part is they don’t use refined sugar or high fructose corn syrup. They use natural trehalose, so it’s only 45% as sweet as regular sugar and doesn’t give you that heavy, cloying feeling.

Their frozen yogurt made from a high density homemade yogurt brick (100% Australian yogurt + French cream)

Ordered the medi delight - a super unique, rich mix of sweet fig, dates, and crunchy pistachio with a hint of balsamic.

Also had to get the tropical wave, which is basically sunshine in a cup with passionfruit, mango, and crispy coconut.

Chill Hill is actually the newest project by Shena, the chef-owner behind Café Twenty One From Eight! She used her Le Cordon Bleu training to create a ‘real’ froyo base.

The stickers are way too cute I had to take them.

🩵

One of their mascots :)

These gigantic photo props thoughhhh

Whether you actually need to wash your clothes or need an excuse for some good froyo out of this HK heat.

A really thoughtful take on a Hong Kong gift. Instead of the usual souvenirs, @konnedle focuses on the vanishing details of the city. Just a really nice mix of design and local heritage.

The box design is a nod to the classic HK carved metal gates (通花鐵閘). And the name「港呢到」is a play on “香港呢到” (Right here in Hong Kong) 🇭🇰

They took a traditional, fading street snack - the candy and coconut wrap (糖葱餅), and combined it with Western puff pastry.

The debossed details on the box. Under the right lighting, you can clearly see the metal gate pattern and vertical lines.

A nice little detail on the wrappers: the logo actually combines the left side of the Chinese character「港」(Hong Kong) with the English letter “K”. A quiet nod to the city’s mixed culture.

The flavors are Original (Coconut & White Sesame) and Black Sesame, inspired by traditional tong sui (sweet soup dessert). A good balance of nostalgic taste and modern pastry.

🖤🤍

A really solid gifting option if you’re looking for something different! by @betterwithmatcha

Found a lovely autumn escape above the TST crowds🍂

Not your usual afternoon tea. This is a special autumn tea flight (HK$288) pairing three beautiful Chinese teas from Plantation with custom pastries. Such a refreshing change of pace!

The aroma filling the room was incredible.

The three custom pastries.

The fruity, buttery notes of the tea go so well with the tropical coconut and mango mousse cake.

The star of the show! The tea literally smells like a warm pot of freshly cooked rice, and it balances the tartness of the mousse perfectly.

Harvested from 100 years old trees! This one is light, sweet, and pairs beautifully with the rich pecan tart.

I’m so sold on this tea 🍚

Such a calming space for the cooler months ahead.

Come coffee hop with me! Put together another 8 cafes around the city, save this for your next coffee run x

An oldie but a goodie! This spot needs no introduction. AP has been a staple in the HK coffee scene for years, and their signature ‘Dirty’ and latte art are still as flawless as ever.

NOC’s new Kai Tak branch is huge. Love how the big windows bring in so much natural light, perfect for a slow morning.

A fresh, stylish new hideout in Mong Kok. The perfect aesthetic corner for your mid afternoon coffee.

Authentic Aussie brunch dreams! Known for their fresh avocado dishes and a relaxing, cream toned interior that turns into a cozy date spot at night.

Wan Chai’s newest spot for high quality roasts. Grab an iced latte and their famous fusilli for the perfect pairing.

Hidden inside the Leica flagship store, sip on their specialty brews surrounded by vintage cameras.

A really solid neighborhood spot in Hung Hom. Try their 1+1+1 coffee tasting flight and viral banana bread. Plus the outdoor seating is pet friendly!

A cozy upstairs oasis with warm wooden vibes. Great window views away from the crowds. Order their basque cheesecake and thank me later! by @betterwithmatcha

Back at @almahongkong for the forth time! The food honestly just keeps getting better. Their crispy gnocchi has always been my favourite but that tortilla with portobello was so good too! Also highly recommend saving room for the churro with mocha affogato.

London’s famous Santa Nata has landed on Lyndhurst Terrace, and they are serving up some serious pastry perfection!

We all know their classic Portuguese Egg Tarts are top tier 🤌🏻

Crispy, flaky shell + creamy custard combo is unbeatable!

Can we also take a moment for the Pão de Deus (God’s Bread) and the Nata Cream Croissant Brioche?! SO GOOD!

The ultimate pastry haul.

If you need a sweet treat in Central, this is the spot 😌 taken in Santa Nata by @betterwithmatcha
