It’s an honour to be considered among the Royalty of Teen Fiction! I want to give a huge shout out to @tubookexpo for the unforgettable time that was had, connections that were made and wonderful content that was created that day. There aren’t many organizations that not only support authors, but also compensate them for their time without question. I am overjoyed to have been part of this wonderful event and I look forward to attending more.

THANK YOU, @LorimerKids! 📚 Canadian publisher Formac/Lorimer graciously donated copies of teen novels from the participating authors at #InkToAlgorithm that we were able to offer to registered guests as a gift of thanks.

We were honoured to highlight these great books, featuring #BlackCanadian protagonists!

It’s always good to be back home 💚!

Here’s a look back at my Ottawa homecoming 🚘📚.

A huge shout out to Amrita and all the staff at @indigopinecrest, to @hyattplaceottawawest for allowing us to host our post-event celebration at The Placery and to @kinaessentials for gifting us with their wonderful/delightful cake pops for my Ottawa homecoming book tour stop that led to great convos and some new fans of Between Classes🥰

I also want to give a big thank you to all the familiar faces that came out to support — including radio legend @mikeywizdom 🙌🏾!

The food was amazing at the stop @kingsjerkchicken 🙏🏾
