This past Saturday we hosted our 9th Annual Vision Beyond Sight Celebration on our very own playground, bringing our community together to celebrate resilience, possibility, and the children and families of Beyond Blindness.

From powerful student stories highlighting the impact of our Education and Enrichment programs, to a moving keynote made by blind hockey advocate, Craig Fitzpatrick, reminding us all that blindness does not limit potential, low expectations do, the evening was deeply meaningful and inspiring.

Thank you everyone who made this night impactful. Together, we’re building the systems, support, and community that empower Beyond Blindness children and families to truly thrive.

➡️ Swipe through for just a few of the many highlights.

We’ve taken flight and now we’re sharing a behind‑the‑scenes look at a special visit from Anaheim Ducks goaltenders Lukas Dostal and Petr Mrázek! 🦆🥅

From a successful attempt at brailling their names to meaningful moments connecting with Beyond Blindness students, we loved spending the afternoon sharing our mission and impact across Orange County.

For every regular season save made by Ducks goalies at Honda Center, $30 will be donated to Beyond Blindness, thanks to the combined support of the Anaheim Ducks Foundation, Circle K, and contributions from the incredible goaltenders themselves.

Thank you to the @anaheimducks, @anaheimducksfoundation and @circlekstores for helping raise awareness of the important work we do in the Orange County community.

Contribute to the campaign and watch the full segment at the link in bio.

Teach kindness, understanding, and inclusion early!🦯✨

October 15th is White Cane Safety Day, a day to recognize the independence of people who are blind or visually impaired and the white cane that helps them navigate the world. It’s also a great opportunity to talk with your kiddos about what a white cane is, why it matters, and how we can all be respectful and supportive. 💛🤍

When children learn about differences from a young age, they grow up with more empathy, understanding, and inclusion in their hearts. Every conversation helps build a community where everyone can explore, play, and thrive together! 🌍 Thank you @beyondblindness for the grown up tip!
