This was the last project we worked on, and they really showed up for it. They worked HARD on the choreo, put in extra external practices, and brought all the attitude and spice to filming day.

This crew honestly made filming day so smooth because of their commitment to being ready behind the scenes. The preparation, the energy, the dedication… it all showed. 🔥

PS. According to one of the dancers, Kelly, this captures the singer’s vibe perfectly, so y’know… they killed it. 🤪❤️‍🔥

MEET THE 2026 CREW! 😍 I am beyond thankful for the 5 months spent with these humans!

We’ve got to explore dance but also develop ourselves! We did journaling, freestyle, movement exploration, mobility & workouts. We cried, we laughed and most importantly we connected, learned and grew together! Me as much as them.

Thank you for joining me in this first season of Beyond Dance. Beyond grateful to see y’all grow ❤️‍🔥

We had the pleasure of having @youneyterefe come teach us Afrohouse.

The crew was impressed—and definitely challenged! We loved the connection Youni brought into the space, once again solidifying our focus on connection and feeling over performance.

We had been focusing on the idea of how movement feels versus how it looks, and Venom’s class was the perfect way to develop and ground this idea even deeper for the students.

Bringing in a dancehall teacher to work with the crew felt natural. Not only is the genre deeply connected to reggaeton, but it’s also a style grounded in deep cultural roots, expression, and connection.

Sharing space with a teacher who carries and communicates that energy allowed the students to connect more deeply to their own movement — and even to their own inner roots. All while getting the grooving foundations to help their dancing improve.

Based on the students’ energy after this class, it was clear that this experience reminded them of the freedom of dance.

This program started from a love for dance and a desire for growth — merging dance, self-development, and the right environment to explore and expand, with the belief that our internal world heavily translates into the way we move.

I am so freaking excited for this one! ❤️‍🔥⬇️

Since Efecto started two years ago, the goal has always been to connect the street dance world and the Latin dance world (and the communities just as much) here in Van—but this program goes beyond that. It’s also a bridge between dance and life.

You will train, you will perform—both on stage and on camera—you will integrate, and you will grow. This program is all about growth, in dance and beyond dance. ✨

I want to provide you with the right tools to discover yourself, in movement and in life—and if I can’t do it, then I’ll get some dope dancers and/or beings to help!

▫️2 hours of training every week!
▫️Reggaeton (+ its origins) + other dance forms
▫️Technique, grooving, choreography, mobility, breath, and even self-development! (etc. etc. etc. 😝).

While it will be held at an intermediate level, the submission aspect has more to do with mindset than your actual level—so don’t be shy to apply! The submission is also a way for me to understand you, as a dancer and as a human.
