We used an AI-powered matchmaking game to help women founders and creatives meet people who aren’t like them across different industries - and here’s what we learned 👀 3 takeaways from the night: 1. You can learn a LOT from people outside your usual circle. Different industries, backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives can lead to conversations you probably wouldn’t have had otherwise. Like how one woman with a cybersecurity background was giving advice to a marketing freelancer about how to stay private in DIML videos. 2. Different stages of life don’t mean different levels of connection. We had everyone from recent post-grads to women further along in their careers — and everyone had something to offer, learn, or relate to. You never know who might have the perspective, resource, or experience you need. 3. The best networking doesn’t always feel like networking. When you have something specific to connect over, conversations become more natural - and you get past the usual “What do you do?” small talk. The goal wasn’t to meet as many people as possible.
