We used an AI-powered matchmaking game to help women founders and creatives meet people who aren’t like them across different industries - and here’s what we learned 👀

3 takeaways from the night:

1. You can learn a LOT from people outside your usual circle.

Different industries, backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives can lead to conversations you probably wouldn’t have had otherwise.

Like how one woman with a cybersecurity background was giving advice to a marketing freelancer about how to stay private in DIML videos.

2. Different stages of life don’t mean different levels of connection.

We had everyone from recent post-grads to women further along in their careers — and everyone had something to offer, learn, or relate to.

You never know who might have the perspective, resource, or experience you need.

3. The best networking doesn’t always feel like networking.

When you have something specific to connect over, conversations become more natural - and you get past the usual “What do you do?” small talk.

The goal wasn’t to meet as many people as possible.

It was to meet people you might not have met otherwise, learn something new, and find unexpected points of connection. ✨

This summer looks a little different.

A few weeks ago, I made one of the biggest decisions of my life: I left my 9-5 to pursue entrepreneurship full-time and build the agency I’ve dreamed about for years.

As I step into this new season, I’m being intentional about what I’m feeding my mind, spirit, and vision. These three books found me at exactly the right time, and each one is teaching me something different about faith, leadership, discipline, and building a life with purpose.

I’m excited to see what lessons unfold from these pages and how they’ll shape not only my business, but the woman I’m becoming along the way.

Speaking at @beyondhervision_ Summit recently was such a meaningful experience. 🤍

Watching women build businesses with ambition, intention, and honesty about the realities of entrepreneurship is incredibly energizing. Sustainable success asks for more than strategy. It asks for self-awareness, resilience, boundaries, and the courage to stay connected to yourself while building something meaningful.

So grateful to @cathycoops for creating a space that felt elevated, warm, and deeply aligned, and to every woman who showed up ready for real conversation and growth.

Also…meeting Cathy’s family and signing books for them may have been one of my favorite moments of the day. 🥹

As a performer, I thought speaking would feel like a performance - hitting every mark, landing every beat. But it doesn’t; it feels like a 1:1 conversation that somehow reaches thousands at the same time. 
I’ve had the privilege of sharing stages with trailblazers and telling stories that I hope inspire. But the moment that gets me every time is looking out into the audience and watching people’s wheels turn.
