POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Just a mama living the dreams that were held ever so closely for so many years and learning to love/embrace every moment of it. 🤍

It’s easy to get swayed by the discouragements and rocked by the failures of motherhood/running a small business. And I definitely have been swayed more than once over the last few months… The temptation to complain and compare, can sink a perspective in a few short moments if given the time and space to linger too long.

So… we don’t give it air. We don’t give space to the complaints and comparisons to bring down our passion to push forward, try new things, meet new people, or prioritize what really matters most to us in life. Whether in business, home, parenting, marriage… we can’t allow the perceived shortcomings to rule the day. We have to carry the torch of perseverance and gratitude to grow our business and bless our families through our business.

🤍 We do this FOR our families, not to them. 🤍

I am richly blessed beyond my wildest dreams and I don’t want to let a day go by that I don’t reflect and rejoice over each and every blessing in my home and business.

Thank you to everyone who makes @beyondthenestbooks everything it is today and helping grow a dream into reality. You are so loved and appreciated for the many ways you show your support and love our family. 🤍📖🫶 by @beyondthenestbooks

Welcome to the Nest!

I’m Christina and I am truly so glad you’re here. I’m a mom of 3 located in Lancaster, Pa and this is a space for more than just books… it’s meant to be a village.

My motherhood journey began six years ago and hasn’t always been the easiest or as joy-filled as I always imagined. In fact, it broke me on a core level that I wasn’t sure I would ever come back from.

I found a glimmer of “me” hiding in this little book business, Beyond the Nest Books and it has blossomed into so much more… and so have I. 💛

While there are still many years of motherhood ahead, I have a firmer faith in the Lord, a stronger support system, and the most amazing village of friends that inspire me daily to keep going. 🪴

So if you’re a mom looking for a village or a core investor of little minds looking for books, there is space for you here. Grab your books, coffee, and a cozy space of your home. We will gather here to share life, share stories, and share in this season of motherhood as friends and each other’s village.

Welcome friend and I am so glad you’re here. 💛🫶📖 taken in Lancaster, Pennsylvania by @beyondthenestbooks

Welcome to the Nest 🫶💛

A cozy little corner for moms raising readers, memory-makers, and curious little hearts 📖☕️🪴

I’m Christina — mama to three “gosslings” and the heart behind Beyond the Nest Books. This space was created from a simple desire:
to slow down, snuggle up, and make everyday moments feel meaningful through books.

If you’ve been craving:
💛 more connection with your kids
📖 screen-free, story-filled days
☕️ simple rhythms that actually feel doable
🪴 a gentle, joy-filled approach to early learning

…you’re in the right place 🫶

Inside the Nest, I share:
✨ handpicked children’s books you’ll actually use
✨ easy, cozy ways to build a love of reading at home
✨ ideas for babies, toddlers, and growing readers
✨ a peek into our real-life rhythms as a family

This isn’t about doing more — it’s about making what you’re already doing feel more intentional, more connected, and a little more magical 💛

If you’re new here, I’d love to meet you 🫶
Tell me — how old are your little readers?

And if you want to go a little deeper, I have a cozy private book club where we share ideas, favorites, and fun little extras 📖
Just message me “BOOK CLUB” and I’ll send you the link 💛

So glad you’re here and…

🤍📖 This is what it’s all about…

A day spent talking about books, meeting new friends, connecting with families, and watching stories find their way into the hands of the people who will love them. 🥹📖

Every time we set up The Little Bookshop, I’m reminded that this is about so much more than books. It’s about the bedtime stories that become traditions, the little minds that grow with every page, the imaginations that take flight, and the memories families make along the way.

And getting to be a small part of that? That’s why I do what I do. 🤍

A huge thank-you to @mad_chef_craft_brewing and @moonlithollowbooks hosting an amazing book fair! Thank you to everyone who stopped by! Thanks for chatting with us, browsing the shelves, supporting small businesses, and taking home a little something to read. You made it such a wonderful day!

This little bookshop has big dreams, and I’m so grateful for every family, every conversation, and every story that gets to find its way home. 🤍📖

Raising readers, one book at a time. 📖💖

🎄A little Christmas magic… in the form of BOOKS! 📖

My PaperPie Advent Calendars are officially sold out online, but I still have some available at my pop-up bookshop for just $24.99 (regularly $49.99) while supplies last! 🤍❤️

Each reusable calendar includes 24 mini classic books for a December full of stories, surprises, and a little extra reading magic. ❤️

And don’t feel like you have to save them just for December! These little books are perfect for:
🤍A fun, non-candy trick-or-treat surprise
❤️Classroom rewards or prize boxes
🤍Keeping little hands busy while waiting
❤️Stocking stuffers and little gifts

I love finding ways to make reading part of everyday family life, and this is such a fun one!

Online is sold out, so you’ll have to catch The Little Bookshop at a pop-up to snag one! These calendars will make their first appearance this Saturday at the @moonlithollowbooks Book Fair at @mad_chef_craft_brewing! by @beyondthenestbooks

💖📖A little corner of the Nest, out in the wild!

One of my favorite parts of bringing Beyond the Nest Books out into the community is seeing all the different stories find their way into little hands (and sometimes big ones, too!).

And now, that little traveling bookshop experience has a name of its own… ✨ The Little Bookshop! ✨

🪺 A Traveling Nest Pop-Up Book Fair
Traveling from our Nest to yours.

Last weekend, we had an amazing time bringing our books to @kensgardens for the October @flourishmakersmarket, and we’re so grateful for everyone who stopped by, browsed the shelves, and found a new story to take home!

Every book has a place it belongs, a reader waiting to discover it, or a family memory just waiting to be made. And getting to be a small part of that? That’s the magic for me. 💙💚

And we’re just getting started! We’re looking forward to more bookish adventures this fall and throughout the holiday season. From finding a new bedtime favorite to choosing a book for someone special, we can’t wait to help more stories find their way home. 📖✨

So the next time you see The Little Bookshop pop up around town, come say hello! We’d love to help you find your next favorite. 🪺

📍 Have a school, family event, or community gathering coming up? We’d love to bring The Little Bookshop to you!

Where should we pop up next? Tell us below! 📖💙💚

The perks of having a book mom, there’s never a shortage of cardboard box adventures! 📦

Did you know the inside of our shipping boxes have a mini town and road design for your littles? 🚗

Not only do you get to grow your library, but you get to grow their creative imaginations as well! 📖🥰 taken in Lancaster, Pennsylvania by @beyondthenestbooks
