Well, that’s one for the books 📚

Our FIRST All-Ages Book Fair brought readers of every age to Mad Chef this past Saturday, and we loved seeing the pub full of people finding their next “just one more chapter.” 👏🏼

A huge thank-you to @moonlithollowbooks, @beyondthenestbooks, @cramerscustomcreations, @floraldinodesigns, and local author Sabina Nordqvist @nordqvistbooks for filling the day with great reads, bookish finds, and local talent.

And to everyone who stopped in to browse, shop, and support them, THANK YOU 💚

East Petersburg, you made our first book fair one worth bookmarking.

🗓️ Mark your calendars for our next one on Saturday, December 19th. Keep a look out for more details.

Our first Little Blue Truck Morning at @brownsorchards was everything we hoped it would be! 🤎

Little ones and their grown-ups enjoyed a wagon ride to the patch to pick their own pumpkins, gathered for a special storytime with Christina from @BeyondTheNestBooks, decorated fall-inspired bookmarks, and explored the play stations! 🛝 ☕️

It was such a joy watching families slow down, play, and make sweet memories together on a beautiful, crisp fall morning at the orchard 🍁

A huge thank you to @brownsorchards for welcoming us and creating such a beautiful fall setting, and to Beyond the Nest Books for bringing the magic of storytelling to our morning! 📚

And to every family who joined us, thank you for spending your morning with us. We can’t wait to do it all again next Tuesday! 🥹🤎

✍️ L. J. Nicolson (@ljnicolsonbooks) with a meet & greet/live signing of “Of Ember and Stone”

📖 Beyond the Nest Books (@beyondthenestbooks) with children’s books

📚 York County Libraries (@yorkcountylibraries) with a family friendly activity and on-site library card sign ups

📍 Franklin Street Social, our wonderful host for the evening! Their space gives us the perfect place to bring readers, local makers, and our community together.

🍹 And don’t forget to stop by @therailbar at Franklin Street Social, which will be serving up a special themed drink just for the book fair!

And of course, Moonlit Hollow Books will be bringing a large selection of romance, dark romance, fantasy, thriller, YA, and fall reads, along with Blind Dates With a Book and other bookish goodies!

We’re so grateful to everyone joining us and helping us create a space where readers can discover something new, shop local, meet a local author, and connect with our community.
