Two pieces that @therealdanprime & I did a collab on! I threw the mugs, he taped them with the pattern he wanted, chose the glaze colours and I glazed them up. I think they turned out great! by @beyondumami.pottery

New berry bowl out of the kiln!!
Need to make more of these! Sadly my prototype of this one has a small crack on the very edge but it is super functional pottery :)

New pieces I've made lately!
Drippy swirl espresso tumblers, white glaze and matte black :)

Pretty mugs that I have made recently! Output for pottery isn't as great this past year due to the fact that I am busy busy with my 9 month old! I'm still glad I committed to getting into the studio at least once a week for a few hours since he was 4 months old so at least I had a way to get some creative time in.

Northern lights/galaxy style mug (obsidian, Smokey merlot, blue rutile, seaweed) , bubble mug (Smokey merlot, blue rutile and honey flux) and Hawaiian inspired mugs (power turquoise & winterwood with snow for the waves!).

New pieces out! Trying out some new glazes as @bohoyegcreations got me @amacobrent lunar pink for my bday! Also finally found a matte grey from @maycocolors that seems to be super close to what I've been searching for a while! And of course more pink mugs and bowls with the drip effect!

Made a unique one of a kind #matchabowl recently with a gorgeous emerald coloured whisk holder. Enjoy your pieces @minjodi1! Open bottom on the whisk holder to hopefully prevent mold and dry the whisk easier .

Fired @studio72yeg! Matcha bowl dipped in white glaze using @potterysupplyhouse speckled and the whisk holder has @amacobrent honey flux with emerald falls. Fired at a cone 6.

Here's the final result of the collab that I did with hubby! He taped up one of my mugs and I glazed it with @studio72yeg's glazes of white on the inside and cobalt blue on the outside. Turned out so good! Lines are so crisp. by @beyondumami.pottery

Trying out a new glazing style! This is technically a collab with hubby as he wanted to try this taping method. I made the mug so he didn't need to touch the clay (he doesn't like the stickiness of the clay mess 😅) and he taped up the mug. I helped glaze it for him today. It will be cobalt blue with white using @studio72yeg's glazes. I wanted something super stable too so the glaze wouldn't move and keep the crisp lines. by @beyondumami.pottery

Still pregnant & waiting for the little guy! Now aiming for 39 weeks as the placenta moved. So in the meantime more pottery!! Check out these two porcelain soap dispensers I made. Now all our bathrooms have some gorgeous & functional pottery pieces (as I made a test one last year). They aren't perfect but great for my first time trying to measure these & get the dispensers to fit.

Time-lapse of two porcelain mugs- the last ones I threw this year! Two different angles- one from the side and one from the front. From just a ball of clay to a mug shape, then a week later after some drying trimmed, add a bottom & a handle to become a mug! Decorated with an underglaze transfer and off to dry more before its first fire to bisque stage.
