As we conclude Black Breastfeeding Week, we want to leave you with words of encouragement to carry with you throughout your breastfeeding journey.

✨ Breastfeeding builds a special and unique bond between you and your baby.

✨ Just as seasons change for nature, your milk will adjust for baby’s development. You are mother nature.

✨Your milk is not only food, but medicine. It reduces the risk of many ailments.

✨When you feed yourself. You feed your baby. Eat good and eat well, mama.

✨ It’s okay to not to to have it all figured out. Asking for support on your journey is such powerful self advocacy.

✨No one has to understand when, why, or how your journey looks the way it does. Every effort you put forward is purposeful and leaves a positive impact.

✨You are continuing a historical tradition. Shoutout to you for keeping it going.

Keep going. Keep believing in yourself. keep celebrating every step of your journey.

March really tried to kick my behind. So many unforeseen things happen, that I didn’t know how I was going to survive all the changes. I don’t even have enough photos to express how crazy and beautiful this month was.

Literally, by the grace of God I was able to accomplish all that I did this month.

A few highlights ✨:
Choreographed SpongeBob 🧽
Choreographed Beautiful the Carol King Musical 💙
Launched a city wide project with Cleveland Clinic and the Transformative Arts Fund bringing awareness to the art of Black Maternal health🤰🏾

BE YOU…..the process of becoming. This past week I’ve been reminded of the beauty of being your full self. Especially the imperfect, clumsy, mistaken ridden self. And, how your people love you FOR YOU. Christ loves us, even with the conditions of our heart. Praise Yah for being able to rest in His word.
