Hello, IG community! My name is Lucy Yun, founder of @luckylucycreative Inc. My career has taken me from filmmaking, fashion marketing to styling, retail management, events, social media, and creative production across Asia and North America; where I’ve found that the most interesting work often happens at the intersection of different disciplines. Today, I help brands turn creative ideas into tangible experiences humans — not AI — can see, feel, and remember. These days, my work of scope spans art & creative direction, branding, props, wardrobe and food styling, production design, marketing, events and experiential campaigns. I’m particularly drawn to projects with a strong aesthetics-led point of view and fun room to play. I love bringing together bold colours, composition, depth, textures, cultural references, people, and places to create something that feels distinctive, meaningful, and a little unexpected. I call what I do brand experience design because I don’t believe a brand lives in a logo or a campaign alone. It lives in every detail of how people encounter it. And perhaps most importantly, I believe in having fun while on this journey. That philosophy is also where the name LUCKY LUCY comes from. I feel incredibly fortunate to have built a creative life, deeply rooted in Korean and Canadian cultures, and I want to bring that same sense of curiosity, possibility, and joy to the work I create. This year marks my 15th anniversary since I moved to Canada; and I've never imagined to be having a "pinch me" moment like this when I decided to move here. I just had one of the most incredible dining experiences for my birthday! 🥳🎉 Originally, Paul had a helicopter ride planned for today, but it was canceled due to the weather. 😭 So we had to quickly pivot to Plan B, and honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better backup plan. What drew us to drive all the way to Maple Ridge was their reverse-engineered ”Table to Farm“ concept. Instead of bringing the farm to the table, they bring the table (and charming gazebos!) to the farm, where fresh, seasonal ingredients are grown and transformed into an extraordinary meal. Every dish was beautifully layered, thoughtful, and full of unexpected complexity. The setting was romantically rustic, yet the dining experience felt effortlessly refined. It was such a unique way to experience fine dining while feeling completely immersed in nature. Thank you @sunflowercafebc for such a memorable birthday celebration. It feels incredibly special to be reunited with my besties in Spain. 🇪🇸❤️ Over the years, we’ve explored Korea, Japan, and the Philippines together, but coming back together in Europe, 20 years after our very first adventure, feels extra magical. Seeing how far we’ve come, and everything we’ve overcome side by side, makes this moment even more meaningful. I’m so grateful we’re in a place where we can share this journey of traveling together again. This trip is one I’ll carry with me forever ❤️ 베프들과 20년만에 다시 온 유럽, 스페인. 🇪🇸❤️ 한국, 일본, 필리핀을 함께 여행하기도 했지만, 처음 함께 여행을 떠났던 그때로부터 20년이 지나 다시 유럽에서 조우한다는 건 생각보다 더욱더 특별하고 마법 같은 일이었다. 많은 시간을 지나 각자의 자리에서 성장해오며 달라진 모습을 보는 것이 너무나도 자랑스럽고, 물리적 거리에 상관없이, 희노애락이 가득한 삶 속에서 우리의 우정을 잃지 않고 지켜왔다는 사실이 뿌듯하다. 바쁜 여정에서 다시 함께 의지를 모아 여행을 즐길 수 있었던 우리 모두에게 진심으로 감사하고 싶다. 평생 잊지 못할 기억으로 남을 듯한 소중했던 여행과 20년이 지나도 여전히 반짝이는 우리 셋, 그 속에 남은 웃음 가득한 추억들을 간직하며 #선정경유치뽕 🫶🏽💖💕 taken in Seville, Spain by @beyunique

Had the loveliest coffee date with @vestige.story at @prunusvancouver in Richmond today! The minimalist decor, stunning ceramics, and friendly service made it a perfect spot for our catch-up.
