Feeling pretty defeated today. My confidence level is going down. Not sure how to handle the situation. Losing faith in the justice system. Should I drop everything and move back to Korea? What’s keeping me here? Would I ever be able to overcome this trauma? Or will I have to live with it forever? So much uncertainty, so little clarity. I don’t even know what is real me and what’s not anymore. It’s scary. I wish it didn’t go to grab a drink, but it’s too late to take it all back. I don’t know what to think, I don’t know what to do. I am so broken. I don’t know if I would ever be real me again. 🥹

Did you know you can get involuntarily admitted to the hospital in BC against your will after voluntarily walking in and getting triaged? This is utterly unfathomable. They took all the electronics away, and today, my doctor finally “allowed” me a “Phone Privilege”. I can only have access to it for AN HOUR. Hooray! Now, I have no choice but turn this into a K-Drama. I am going to write the script based on true events that happened since the evening of September 24th till I get discharged. Who do you guys think should play me?! Name some names here and make it happen!! 🇨🇦🇰🇷🎉💖

Hello, IG community! My name is Lucy Yun, founder of @luckylucycreative Inc. My career has taken me from filmmaking, fashion marketing to styling, retail management, events, social media, and creative production across Asia and North America; where I’ve found that the most interesting work often happens at the intersection of different disciplines. Today, I help brands turn creative ideas into tangible experiences humans — not AI — can see, feel, and remember. These days, my work of scope spans art & creative direction, branding, props, wardrobe and food styling, production design, marketing, events and experiential campaigns. I’m particularly drawn to projects with a strong aesthetics-led point of view and fun room to play. I love bringing together bold colours, composition, depth, textures, cultural references, people, and places to create something that feels distinctive, meaningful, and a little unexpected. I call what I do brand experience design because I don’t believe a brand lives in a logo or a campaign alone. It lives in every detail of how people encounter it. And perhaps most importantly, I believe in having fun while on this journey. That philosophy is also where the name LUCKY LUCY comes from. I feel incredibly fortunate to have built a creative life, deeply rooted in Korean and Canadian cultures, and I want to bring that same sense of curiosity, possibility, and joy to the work I create. If you’re working on a project with a strong idea, a little room to play, and a desire to make something people remember, I’d love to connect. Let’s create something meaningful together. Looking forward to connecting with you! Best, Lucy Photographed by @cghussey HMUA: @evelynaffleck for @vancouvermagazine

It feels incredibly special to be reunited with my besties in Spain. 🇪🇸❤️ Over the years, we’ve explored Korea, Japan, and the Philippines together, but coming back together in Europe, 20 years after our very first adventure, feels extra magical. Seeing how far we’ve come, and everything we’ve overcome side by side, makes this moment even more meaningful. I’m so grateful we’re in a place where we can share this journey of traveling together again. This trip is one I’ll carry with me forever ❤️ 베프들과 20년만에 다시 온 유럽, 스페인.

Can't believe it's been 20 years since I last set foot in Europe! Time really flies when you're busy living life. I am beyond thrilled to explore Spain with my childhood besties, making fresh memories and revisiting old favourites while soaking up the sights and flavours. See you from Spain! 🥰❤️🇪🇸💋

I am so honoured to have met the Consul of Korea last Friday, discussing an inaugural Korean Book Week festival for October on Granville Island. I am envisioning something bigger as a Korean Cultural Festival for celebrating all of Korean arts, culture, and fashion. Does anyone here have an experience starting up a charitable foundation in Canada? Please send help! 🇰🇷🇨🇦🤗🎉

My hair’s been losing the battle against gravity, looking sadder by the day. 😂 Time for a much-needed change! Just got a perm on my virgin roots and a fresh cut, now I am fully ready for spring! 🌞🌸💕

Honestly, I went back and forth when the invite first came thru my inbox, but looking back, flying across Canada to attend the @globestyle magazine launch party in my favourite dress was totally worth it. 💃🏽✨ Still can’t believe I made the 2025 Canada’s Best Dressed list. Seeing it printed in real life felt pretty freakin’ surreal. 😭🖤 Huge thanks to @globestyle for the feature, @kitt_woodland for capturing the moment, @haileyparkmakeup for the glam, and @pleasebevco for the location. Feeling incredibly grateful. 🥹🙏

I'm truly honoured to be featured as one of Canada's Best Dressed in @globestyle magazine! This year marks my 15th anniversary since I moved to Canada; and I've never imagined to be having a "pinch me" moment like this when I decided to move here. A huge thank you to @odessapaloma for sharing my story, @kitt_woodland for capturing these special moments, @haileyparkmakeup for the beautiful makeup, and @pleasebevco for providing the perfect location. Thanks all for letting me live this Canadian dream! 🥹🙏
