In the fireside reading room of our client’s countryside home, Langhirano, Italy: works collected over time, held in conversation through the gesture and trace of each artist’s hand.

William Kentridge, Boulangers Trees 15 (2023), Indian ink and colored pencil on found paper.

Boulangers Trees 15, detail.

Lucy Rie, Vase with fluted body and flaring lip (1960), stoneware with manganese speckle, pitted white glaze.

A very good case for small paintings.

Minjae Kim, Rocking Chair 1_Gate (2022), lacquered Douglas fir.

Gideon Rubin, Underwear (Mollino Series),
(2022), oil on linen. by @bhallamunro

Installed in our client’s Park Avenue home: Hate Stranger 06 (Freckles) by Moka Lee, from the artists first UK solo show in January last year with @carlos_ishikawa

Sharing this on the eve of @leemokalee solo show with @davidkordanskygallery in LA that’s opening tomorrow - what an exciting US debut!

Moka Lee’s portraits begin with images of strangers found on social media, but end somewhere more complex. Enlarged, softened and meticulously translated into paint, they explore the space between digital self-presentation and human presence. Working over a gesso ground, Lee builds translucent layers of oil into luminous surfaces that evoke the fragility and materiality of old photographs and memory.

Two works by Jan-Ole Schiemann installed at Breakthrough Properties‘ One Milestone, a recently completed Enterprise Research Campus at Harvard.

Schiemann’s lyrical abstractions bring a sense of movement and inquiry to a building dedicated to scientific research, innovation and collaboration. We’re delighted to have helped place these works in such a landmark new development.

Thanks to @olneygleason, @bt_prop and @sabineheller

Ambera Wellmann’s 𝘕𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘸𝘭𝘦𝘳𝘴 (2016), installed in our client’s Park Avenue home. Part of an earlier series by the artist in which porcelain becomes a stand-in for the body, the painting blurs distinctions between material and flesh through its luminous, sensual surface. Balancing intimacy with dark humour, the work shifts between abstraction and figuration the longer you look.

A visit to the sublime Gerhardt Richter retrospective at @fondationlv last month in Paris. Blurred, ambiguous portraits, romantic landscapes, energetic abstractions — all exuding that unmistakable Richter glow and constant curiosity about the very nature of an image.

Two of the best shows in London right now by artists that remind us it’s not about rejecting the gaze, it’s about taking it back ❤️‍🔥 Eva Helene Pade at Thaddaeus Ropac and Lisa Brice at Sadie Coles HQ (in the gallery’s gorgeous new Saville Row space). Pade’s paintings feel like catching a figure mid-thought — hazy, glowing, never fully there for us to consume. And Brice’s smoky, sober palette and cool confidence turn the tables, too — women painting, watching and owning the frame instead of sitting inside it.
