Move, breathe, nourish. by @bhavanabritt

With intention, with love, with light.

Can’t wait to move with all of you in my favourite, inspiring, safe, loving, grounded, expansive place this week…. @thebhavanastudio by @bhavanabritt

So many have asked “How was Seawheeze?” And my response has been the same- I always start with “I don’t say this lightly- but it was life changing and one of the most incredible experiences of my life.” I couldn’t really find the words for this post- but I did write a thank you to the @lululemon team who believed in me, so I figured I’d share that and give a wee glimpse into the feels im left with.

“Hiiii!!!!!

I just needed to send an email and somehow explain/ express my gratitude to each of you- for the opportunity you two gave me to be apart of the literal life changing event that SeaWheeze was. When offered the opportunity to go - I knew it was the sign, the push, the gift I needed from the universe to return back to my practise of running. Running is so much more than a physical practise for me- it’s therapy for my mind and soul and an open canvas for my creative self. I’ve reconnected to all of that because of SeaWheeze. The whole experience has left my heart completely expanded for others and truthfully for myself. I feel PROUD and CONFIDENT within myself like I’ve never felt before and that feels very healthy, very empowering and very freeing! I feel like I’ve been introduced to a new version of myself and I truly cannot wait to see and feel where this energy takes me. WHATS NEXT!?”

@lululemon thank you for doing everything with such a spark and for somehow in a sea of 10,000 humans making me feel so supported and powerful!!

I’ll see you next year Seawheeze!

Strong isn’t rushed.
It’s controlled.
Intentional.
Its Refined.

45 minutes. Total body strength. Low impact.
Thoughtfully layered strength training that builds muscle, stability, and confidence one purposeful rep at a time.

THE REFINE.
Grounded & Powerful.

Book your next class and be reminded of your strength.

uuuuu ahhh!!!! A couple of weeks ago (time, please slow down) I had the privilege of opening the @lululemon Summer Series. An opportunity for a whole lotta beautiful humans to come together through movement.

We used this practice as a reminder of everything that already lives within us. Movement that reminded us of our strength and power. Movement that asked us to find courage when things felt challenging. And movement that invited us back into our softness.

How wonderful it is that we can be reminded of so much just by simply making shapes within our very own bodies.

I’ll be back August 15th at the Olympic Plaza for another glorious morning of movement!- until then, every Saturday is another opportunity to move with an incredible instructor!

Thank you @lululemon

I recently received all the incredible content that was captured from our first Seasonal Ritual- Summer Solstice. Firstly, @reactivemediastudio @c.granicolo why and how are you so amazing!?!? I can literally feel the experience through these clips. My goodness.

When @drinkingwithdani, @gracieandthegrape and myself came together with this idea we all agreed that an evening like this is not only wanted but necessary for our community. An evening where all of our favourite things can be merged together: movement, ritual, crafted cocktails, delicious food shared and enjoyed with beautiful humans. We did just that. I’m excited to share some snips of what we created and even more exited to share that we’re already planning the next Seasonal ritual. We planed and executed this one in 14 days….imagine what we can do in 2.5 months. Stay tuned.

The ritual:
Breath activation to energize, warm and clear.
Warm Hatha yoga to create space within the body and to move through any jitters.
Down regulating breath to settle and land.
Meditation and words of affirmation
Reflection, journaling, purge (for the mind).
Sweet sounds by @_charlibe filled the room while we breathed, moved and connected. by @bhavanabritt

Recovery starts with your nervous system.

When your exhale is longer than your inhale, you stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system- the branch responsible for rest, recovery, digestion, and repair.

Try this:
• Inhale for 4
• Exhale for 6
• Repeat for 2–5 minutes
This simple shift in your breathing can help:
– Lower heart rate
– Reduce stress hormones
– Improve heart rate variability (a marker of resilience and recovery)
– Release unnecessary muscle tension
– Support faster recovery after movement

The goal isn’t to breathe harder it’s to breathe with intention.
Recovery isn’t passive. It’s something we can actively support, one breath at a time.

Find a moment or 2 and recover. by @bhavanabritt
