photo proof that i’m capable of more than i give myself credit for

HYROX was f*cking hard. it was the kind of hard where you have to learn to trust yourself, even when you’re so nervous you don’t want to eat, you have to remember to breathe, and then continue going even while your brain is screaming at you.
BUUUUT that’s the part i’m most proud of. not just what my body was able to do, but the fact that i worked for it, showed up, pushed myself, and DID this thing that would’ve intimidated an younger version of me.
i am still learning, still growing, still training and most importantly still figuring out just how much i’m capable of. and getting to do it alongside lindsey, katie, and my mom made it feel that much more special. 💚💜
not to mention that i COULD NOT have ever done this without the support from the coaches at @thegetfitstudio -erica, steph, erica(#2lol), becca. literally wouldnt have ever thought of signing up for this in my life without them.
and @danbevilacqua_ for making sure i stuck to my routine even when i didn’t want to…😵‍💫

if you’re someone like me, who questions every outfit a million times, who overthinks little things, worries about everyone else and what they think, and constantly feels like there’s something else you could or should be doing…

this is your reminder to choose yourself first🤍

you don’t have to wait until your anxiety settles.
you don’t have to wait until every box on your to-do list is checked.
you don’t have to wait for a great sign or miracle.
you don’t have to wait until everyone else is okay.

YOU ARE ALLOWED to put yourself first BEFORE you reach your breaking point.

taking care of yourself isn’t selfish.
it’s not the easy way out, it’s not lazy.
and it’s ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!! not something you have to earn.
give yourself permission to breathe.

YOU deserve the same care and patience you give to everyone else without thought or hesitation🫶🏼
