17th March 2019, for someone who doesn’t like odd numbers, my Bookstaversary sure does fall on the "perfect" day.. and here we are half a decade later.!
I couldn’t believe it when I realized just how long I’ve been on this journey.! @amazeofwords thankyou for reminding me what date it is today & for taking this cute picture.!
••
I thought about how I should mark the day.. because what a ride it has been ever since joining this amazing community & I can’t wait to go further on this journey with you all.!! So thankyou so much for being here and being awesome.!!
••
I’ll end this by answering a question I get asked often..… What’s the story behind my username!?
No it is not inspired from the Powerpuff Girls.!
When I decided to join Bookstagram I tried out a bunch of names as I’m sure we all did, but they were either already taken or not something I really liked.. then my dear sister(@violetmuses ) suggested I use the term bubbles, which is her nickname for me & that’s how bibliobubbles came to be.!
••
Is there a story behind your username!? Tell me in the comments below, I would love to know.!!
••
Until later,

Hello people.!!💛
Today was such an amazing day.!! I met a bookish friend and we visited an author signing.!!✨
I met @thekingbeyondthewall , the author of Sons of Darkness and HE IS AN ABSOLUTE DELIGHT.💛
••
I had so much fun just chatting with him and getting my books(yes, plural) signed. He took the characters I grew up with, took the stories I knew and threw them out (out of window, in the ocean, take a pick.!!) He added darkness, twists and a story that has me gripping my book.!💛
••
The best part?
Reading a story with characters you are familiar with.
Reading a story set in your country.
Reading a story where the names are easily recognizable.
In short, a story of diversity and representation.!💛
••
And I’m hoping that since this is the first book, he will visit with each new book and I look forward to seeing him again when that happens.!!💛
••
Hope you have a wonderful weekend.!✨
Until later,
Stay Safe & Take Care.!!💛
