I came to Green Bay for a new PB. I didn’t realize this fish would not only be my PB. But would come 1/2” from the STATE RECORD. Tying for the second largest if submitted.

56.5x24.5 (girth measured in the net) ate the Big Action Dbl Nickel way out on the cast. The Dbl Nickel was named accordingly due to the 55 caught second weekend of prototyping.

I can finally say my PB came on a Big Action. I said I would trust it for my pb as I’ve seen so many pbs caught on these baits. (My father included) now the biggest personal milestone in my musky career has been checked off. Now for my fathers 50 and the big fish season hasn’t begun 🫡

@jackschnaubelt and I have been talking over the last year. Hearing about his 55.25 last fall on the Big Action Flutter Glide. Then helping us at the Minnesota Musky Expo booth last season. We made a plan to hangout on the bay and this happened! 🔥

I started Big Action Baits to be small batch, big patterns.

1 offs and pushing the material and complexity boundries. Each pattern took meticulous time. Every detail was intentional. Down to 4 layers of paint just for a fin gradient. Lately I feel as though I stepped away from my branded ideas to push more volume.

Enough of that. I want more different. I’m going back to my roots with a different mindset. The detailed 1 off patterns done in 6-10 bait batches.

Bigger patterns, bigger numbers. We all win 🙏
