Like true musky anglers, our small chapter assessed the conditions they were presented with, made a new game plan, and found success! On Thursday night we showed up to our host venue (that confirmed the week before) and the doors were locked, lights were off, with notices posted on the doors & windows. Brendon from @bigactionbaits had just driven 3 hours to present for us, and nearly 20 keen musky anglers showed up to see him so the only option was come up with a new plan. So set up the projector onto the bricks of the building and had ourselves a pizza party! Special thanks to Brendon for putting together a really informative presentation and giving us some new ideas. I think the brick background made the boatside eats look even better!

What should we name this fish?! 🎣

Going through some old photos, I’ve officially decided this fish deserves a name. 😂🎣

Last night was the 3rd time in less than a year that she’s ended up in my hands and in my boat.

Same fish.
3 different people.
3 separate occasions.
3 different locations.

And somehow, we keep crossing paths. 🤯

Eminem said it best:
“They say that it never strikes twice in the same place, Then how the **** have I been hit six times, In three different locations, on four separate occasions"

This is also a pretty awesome reminder of why proper musky catch & release is so important.

Every time she’s been caught, she’s been handled with care, photographed, and released to fight another day.

Because of that, three different people have now had the opportunity to meet the same fish.

Take care of them, and hopefully they’ll be around long enough for someone else to experience the same moment. 🎣❤️

I’ve been moving fish like crazy lately that just wouldn’t commit… so me and my buddy Don had an idea. 🤔

Head out at midnight, fish all night during the full moon + lunar eclipse, and hit some of the spots where I’ve been moving some BIG fish.

Right around 2 AM, it sure paid off in a BIG way! 🤯🔥🎣

@bigactionbaits glide bait secured the bag!

There are still probably so many Muskies out there that have never seen the “Double Nickel” Big Action. This four footer Brendon nailed was a big fan of it. Let’s make a Maniacs x Big Action collab this fall 👀
Really happy to see you chasing fish this year man, that first 50 of the season is coming soon!

We absolutely put the Kawartha Lakes to work this week! Despite some of the toughest conditions we've ever faced, we managed to land 14 muskies and every single one had to be earned.
The new Video is live now, and trust me, you don't want to miss this one. We battled relentless rain and 60 km/h winds for most of the trip. It was a true test of patience, persistence, and confidence in our game plan.
Musky fishing isn't always about bluebird skies and easy bites. It's about adapting to changing conditions, trusting your electronics, and putting in the time until everything finally clicks. After a week-long grind, I'd say this trip was a massive success.

Always happy when I’m in the boat but these girls sure make me smile ear to ear😄

If you want to consistently hold fish like this, put @muskyfrenzy_lures blades on. There isn’t a higher confidence lure on the market for me in Ontario. 🔥
