Santa Ana Police detectives have arrested 75-year-old Hanh Nguyen of Anaheim, who is facing charges of animal cruelty and animal abandonment in connection with the death of her 9-month-old puppy, Blackey.

Blackey was only a puppy. He deserved a chance to grow up in a safe and loving home.

💔 He should still be here.

They followed the people they love through the heat, hunger, and chaos of the streets.

They can’t ask for help. They can only wait for someone to stop.

🐾 DON’T LOOK AWAY. THEY’RE STILL WAITING.

On Skid Row, some dogs sleep on concrete, face extreme heat, hunger, illness, and traffic, while simply waiting for someone to notice them.

They can’t ask for help. They can only wait.

They still deserve food, water, medical care, and safety. 🐾

They live around traffic, trash, extreme heat, illness, and danger. Some are sick. Some are chained. Some have nowhere else to go.

They don’t understand the circumstances around them. They just know their person.

They still need food. Water. Medical care. Safety.

They didn’t choose this life. They still deserve care.

These dogs face heat, traffic, hunger, illness, and danger every day. But they still trust, still love, and still deserve care.

Sometimes, one person stopping to help can change everything.

A meal. Medical care. A groom. A foster home. A second chance.

DON’T LOOK AWAY.
