Why South Dakota?
To celebrate @bobbiejvelasquez birthday this year we wanted to take the family somewhere off the beaten path. There are so many beautiful, unspoiled parts of this country that we want our kids to know you don’t have to go to the over commercialized destinations to have fun. We had the best week: hiking quiet trails on sacred Lakota land, chasing bunnies around trees, wading in our very own creek, checking out old gold rush towns, watching steam engines and shootouts, and enjoying the company of family on the deck over coffee on cool mornings, right before the wonderful chaos of the day. Kane & Ty got to see their big cousins from Chicago and watching them play together was the bessttttt.
