Earlier this month I threw a 20th anniversary party for Big Flavors at one of my favorite local restaurants, @brothersfishnchips. It was an afternoon full of delicious food, great conversations, food trivia, and lots of laughter.

Thank you so much to everyone who joined me to celebrate this big ol’ milestone for my small business. Your support over the years has meant the world to me, and I appreciate each and every one of you.

Shoutout to my son for his incredible 3D printing skills - he made bag clips for the goodie bags and a custom Big Flavors Pinnk-o board (among other things!). Thank you to my friends @missjenn666 & @missmalloryh for their help with some of the behind-the-scenes tasks that needed to be done to set up for the festivities.

It was an absolutely gorgeous weekend for a wedding! First time at @blenheimhillfarm and everything was drop dead gorgeous and absolutely delicious! I loved all the colorful veggies, the signature drinks with the bride & groom’s dog, and the cannoli guy hitting the dance floor toward the end of the evening. One of my all-time favorite recipes got a makeover! This dill-studded chicken salad is the perfect summer dish. Cool, fresh, and DILL-icious 🌱 (I'll show myself out now).

We especially love these sandwiches served with a pile of kettle chips on top for a nice salty crunch. YUM!

Did you know that you can easily turn ground turkey into homemade turkey sausage patties? Just a few ingredients make this mix perfect for making homemade breakfast sausages without additives or ingredients you can't pronounce.

My easy baked taquitos are such a delicious meal. I made a double batch on Friday to share with friends, and we're getting ready to enjoy the leftovers tonight. 💃🏻

This recipe is versatile - you can make it with your favorite ground protein (I used turkey this time around) or vegan ground meat substitute. They hold up great as leftovers, and they even freeze well!

I like serving them with some pico de gallo, lime crema, and usually some chips and homemade guacamole on the side. Deeeelicious!

Let’s go out for some festive Mexican fusion at Craft Tacos & Tequila in Mohegan Lake, NY. [ad]

My family loved trying out the menu at @crafttacosandtequila. They’re all decked out for the holidays, and there are drink specials to celebrate.

The taco sampler is a great way to try out a variety of tacos. They have 15 different ones to choose from, including beef, pork, chicken, seafood, and veggie options.

They have a nice variety of starters, nachos, wings, and salads as well as fajitas, bowls, burritos, quesadillas, platters on the menu. There’s definitely something for everyone!

I have my eye on the birria grilled cheese, the falafel taco, the chorizo fries, and the tuna poke lettuce cups for our next visit.

Today we said our final goodbyes to one of the truest friends I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. Christine and I hit it off while working together over 20 years ago. Whether we were playing UNO on our lunch break, hitting up happy hour after work, or teaming up with our friends at trivia, it was always a better time when she was around.

Christine was one of the funniest, most sarcastic, thoughtful, and supportive people. We had a lot of shenanigans together over the years, and I’m so very thankful for all of the memories (even the ones that got a little fuzzy).

This pancake recipe tastes like a cozy cup of peppermint hot chocolate.

I've been teaching this recipe in my virtual classes for a few years now (and am teaching it tomorrow morning with @northcastlepubliclibrary) and the recipe is finally up on my website.

These chocolate chocolate chip pancakes with mint are indulgent and festive - perfect for cold weather weekend brunches.
