A new conversation is coming to A Luminous City.🌟

We’re talking about identity, faith, surrender, and the freedom of becoming new in Christ.

The old identity may try to pull you back into shame—but you are not who you used to be. As 2 Corinthians 5:17 reminds us: “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.”

Not improved. Not patched up. New.

I thought transformation was supposed to feel instant. Turns out, God usually does it through the messy middle.

In this episode, we talk about the moments that reshape you most — the loss, the pressure, the delay, and the faith it takes to keep going when everything feels uncertain. What looked like a setback was actually preparation.

Ever wondered how Jesus’ love reached beyond the familiar to the outsiders?

Drop a 💙 if you believe in including everyone in God’s family!

Today’s conversation with Greta took me to a new appreciation of how Jesus prioritized the least, the overlooked, and even those with disabilities. Her story of faith, doubt, renewal, and deep compassion reminds us that the Gospel isn’t just for the “usual” but for all—especially the marginalized.

Greta shares how her experience in ministry, especially with Young Life Capernaum, reflects Jesus’ upside-down kingdom—where the last are first and the outsider is brought in with open arms. It’s a powerful reminder that our faith calls us to serve with authenticity, love without fear, and trust God’s power to do what we can’t do alone.

Episode 7 drops August 1 at 5 PM EST on Spotify and Apple Podcasts, and it premieres on YouTube at 5 PM EST.

Let’s challenge ourselves: How can we better see and love those often sidelined?

Who will you invite into your circle today?

Ever wondered what it truly means to be the light of the world? 💡 Dive in with me!

Tag someone who needs to hear this!

Light isn’t just illumination; it’s a force that overcomes darkness. When you embrace your role as a beacon, you’re not just lighting your own path but guiding others too.

In Matthew 5:14-16, it’s clear: our light is meant to shine for all, not just for ourselves. It’s about reflecting God’s love and goodness, sharing His light with those around us.

As we surrender to Him, we become mirrors of His light, showing the world who Jesus is.

Remember, your good works aren’t for your glory but to glorify God. Let’s live surrendered lives, allowing His light to guide our actions.

The world needs your light. Are you ready to shine?

💡 Keep shining, stay blessed!
