Brahms kept this particular theme from a revised Piano Trio in B major version written 36 years later.

I want to capture a bold innocence of grandeur in the most horizontal phrase but not too abrasive. Long lines but modest in character.

After 29 years of performing on modern cellos, its taken me 4 years to fully appreciate the 1754 Paolo Antonio Testore.

I found myself trying to compare the sound to instruments made 100 years later and I came to the realization that the Testore is a complete original, uniquely its own.

Tchaikovsky Rococo Variations is interwoven with disposition of Mozart Neo-Classical, swag of jazz improv and grace of ballet. 🧬

The challenge is try to make it look easy while delivering a dramatic yet thought provoking performance contained in simplice. 🎭

The journey to perfecting this piece is like creating a puzzle of many genres into 1 complete masterpiece. 🎨 taken in Newberry College by @bigish07
