Following the recent announcement that Jon and Nich have sold the rights to ⚡️TINY HERCULES⚡️, a new children's graphic novel series, to @macmillankidsuk, it's probably time to unveil their new headshots.

A massive thank you to James at Au Fait Photography for making them look so professional in post (it's amazing what you can edit in and out in post these days).

📖 It's the Cheltenham Literature Festival - the closest, most awesome literary event we know of!

Yes, indeed: after years of attendance, both as a punter and occasional indie voice, it's a dream and an honour to make our first official appearance at our local book festival. Thank you to everyone who packed out today's comic-making workshops. From a jelly in a jelly with a jelly on the side, to a wolf with spikey hair that looks just like Queen Victoria, it was a delight seeing your weird, wonderful and amazing ideas come to life. Thank you for listening to all our Tiny Hercules talk and diving into our draw-along with such aplomb.

We hope you feel empowered to bring your own comics to life and that you enjoy reading Tiny Hercules! We look forward to meeting a new crowd of budding comic creators when we return on Sunday!

Thank you to the @cheltfestivals team for welcoming us into the hallowed halls of the writer's room and for treating us so well. It's hard work keeping this show of this size going, but you're doing a fantastic job.

⚡ A big thank you to Helen and Dave at @wonderlandbookshop for hosting us on the last day of our LEGENDARY Tiny Hercules book tour. It's been two manic, exciting weeks of talks and workshops, covering Liverpool, Frodsham, Wakefield, Leeds, Cheltenham, Norwich, Bury St Edmunds, Pinner and Retford, and as tired as we are, we've had a fantastic time.

Massive thanks to the kids and teachers who've welcomed us into their schools and shown such love for Tiny Hercules. We're also so grateful to all the dedicated booksellers who've treated us so well and been such amazing champions of our tiny, mighty hero. Roll on the next tour!

📖 In the meantime, work on Tiny Hercules book 3 continues apace, and we've got a few days to recharge before delivering our comic-making workshops at the Cheltenahm Literature Festival (@cheltfestivals). As Cheltenham boys, it's an honour to appear on stage in our home town. Thank you to everyone for grabbing tickets and making us a SOLD OUT SHOW. We're so excited to meet you.

Cheers everyone. More soon - but for now, sleep.

Tiny Hercules is back on tour, and @nichangell and I are having the time of our lives! A massive thank to you to the kids and teachers who've invited us into their schools to talk all things comics and Tiny Hercules - and an equally massive thank you to the wonderful booksellers who've made this possible.

It's Day 3, and so far we've visited six schools, delivered eight presentations and one workshop, and caught more taxis and trains than we can keep track of. Colossal, heartfelt thanks to:

⚡ the wonderful @linghamsbooks on the Wirral
⚡ @waterstonesliverpool (for letting us commandeer your comic club)
⚡ @thecuriouscatbookshop in Frodsham
⚡ and @darlingreadsbooks in Horbury.

You're all LEGENDARY!

Tomorrow, we're looking forward to meeting our hosts @trumanbooksleeds before heading back to Cheltenham to round off Week 1 on our home turg. Then it's off to Norfolk for yet more comic shenanigans.

And to all our new and returning readers: we hope you enjoy Tiny Hercules' latest adventure. There are plenty more to come!

It's been an exciting few days for Tiny Hercules! Following on from the big announcement that we've been shortlisted for Best Audiobook: Children's at the @thespeakies, we'd like to thank @carolinecarpenterbooks for including Tiny Hercules in her 2026 '10 Titles Not to Miss' for the @_thebookseller!

Thank you for the kind words, Caroline. It's a fine collection of books, and we're honoured to be part of it. What a year - on many levels!

Absolutely stunned, honoured, and stunned again that Tiny Hercules book 1 has been shortlisted for Best Audiobook: Children's at @thespeakies (a.k.a. the British Audio Awards)!

How do you adapt a comic into an audiobook? Well, that's a fascinating question - and working that out for ourselves has been a wonderful journey of discovery. We're so proud of the finished audiobook, which turned out so much better than we could have hoped for - and, dare we say, pushed the limits of what's possible when turning sequential art into audio.

Full credit to the incredible @tombabbage94 for his stellar performance, and for bringing our characters to life with such aplomb. It's been a pleasure getting to know you and an honour watching you work. We promise to write fewer aquatic raps for future instalments (maybe).

Best of luck to all the nominees (we're in excellent company) and thank you to @macmillankidsuk for this amazing opportunity.

We've been shortlisted at @thespeakies! Congratulations to @bigpunchstudios and the incredible @tombabbage94 who has done the most incredible job of bringing Tiny Hercules and all of it's brilliant characters to life in audio🎙️✨🥂📚

It's not an easy job to adapt a comic book into an audio only format, but this audiobook is as much a treat for your ears as the physical book is for your eyes!

What a day! A massive thank you to everyone who came along to our comic-making workshop at @waterstonesglos to celebrate the launch of Tiny Hercules book 2: Golden Cabbage Chaos from @macmillankidsuk!

Once again, we were blown away by the ideas and creativity in display. We've got a whole new generation of storytellers on our doorstep!

Special thanks to Poppy, Sophie, and everyone at Waterstones Gloucester for going above and beyond and transforming the store into a Tiny Hercules wonderland! We had TH bunting, monster-themed craft tables, and even a genuine golden cabbage or two! Honestly incredible. Thank you so much.

This was the bookshop in which I fell in love with graphic novels as a kid; the bookshop in which I purchased my first Grant Morrison comic (a life-changing event). Returning with a comic of my own, to inspire the next generation of readers, writers and artists, means the world.

Thanks for coming, folks. We hope you had a great time!
