Big Sis DJs Presents: Milly On Air

We are thrilled to have rising star @milly_on_air_ joining us to headline our next Big Sis DJs House Party @deyabrewerytaproom on Friday 20th November - tickets dropping very soon so stay close 💖

Fresh from opening for Faithless in Bristol and playing the legendary Sisyphos in Berlin we are delighted to welcome her to Cheltenham next month with Big Sis DJs talent on support.

Milly on Air has become one of Bristol’s most vital underground selectors, known for high-impact sets that balance emotional depth with full-throttle dancefloor release.

Rooted in 90s and 00s house, progressive, tribal, acid and techno - but never confined by them - her sound moves fluidly between driving, percussive pressure and hands-in-the-air moments of pure lift.

Equally at home digging into hypnotic, heads-down rollers as she is igniting peak-time energy, Milly brings a rare combination of intensity and warmth behind the decks.

She is the founder of Embody, a queer FLINTA-foward Bristol party platforming raw, vibrant sounds across acid, progressive house, breaks and trance, hosting artists including Gabrielle Kwarteng, FAFF, Kasra V, Michelle Manetti and Secretsundaze. With Embody the mission is to create dance floors that are joyful, inclusive and connected -spaces where community, freedom and collective release sit at the centre.

Milly has shared stages with Sasha & Digweed, Honey Dijon, Saoirse, Alex Kassian and Demi Riquísimo, to name a few, with standout appearances at Love International, Glastonbury’s Block9, Boiler Room, Pikes Ibiza and Field Maneuvers. A respected voice on SWU and Rinse FM, she is also the creator of Back 2 Life, a podcast exploring mental health and addiction recovery in electronic music. by @bigsisdjs

We’re back with our bimonthly residency on @redrebelfm tune in at 3 pm on Friday! to enjoy 👻 Big Sis DJ Presents: Back From The Dead 👻 Swipe for track lists and meet the team who put together this month’s show…

The Big Sis DJ collective are going deep into the archives this month, dusting off the classics that never should have been forgotten.

Your host DJ Joan Jones takes you on a journey through euphoric recall, with guest mixes from Brown Eyed Girl, Helync, Amy Omen and SuperSquare.

Expect the unexpected: rave, indie, jungle, hardcore, dubstep and house all get their moment in the spotlight. Tracks you forgot you knew every word to, drops that still hit harder than they have any right to, and the kind of music that takes you straight back.
This one’s a full-on revival.

Mixes: @browneyedgirldj
 @helsync__
@amy_omen_
 @supersquarecloud_jo

Host: @dj_joan_jones

Producer: @supersquarecloud_jo
Associate Producer: @frau_bentos Socials: @talla_pauladj by @bigsisdjs
