The poster and DVD cover for Bigger Stronger Faster started with a simple idea: make it feel like The Usual Suspects.

We took the concept to a high-end graphic design team in Venice, California—and they quoted us a ridiculous amount of money.

This was before AI, when you actually had to shoot everything yourself.

They told us the biggest expense would be casting.

I said, “Casting, schmasting. I know guys from Gold’s Gym who look like Stallone, Barry Bonds, the Hulkster, Marion Jones, and Arnold.”

They thought I was crazy.

Then they met the cast.

It came out awesome. by @bigstrongfast

Wishing a huge Happy Birthday to my best friend Angel. I am so proud of her every day when she gets up and goes to work to save lives. It is so impressive to me what first responders do, and I never thought about it before. She is also the most fun person in the world to hang out with. She was born on the same day as @joerogan and The Hulkster! I was born on the same day as @bertkreischer. I got nothin’. Happy Birthday 🎁🎂🎊 I love you! ❤️ by @bigstrongfast

Hanging at the Jersey Shore doing cheap Jersey Shore stuff. I’m taking Angel to the best spots for pizza, wings, bacon egg and cheese on a hard roll, Zeppole aka fried dough and anything else that can fatten you up on the shore. Then she won over 10,000 tickets playing the games that I thought nobody ever wins. She’s good at all of them. I got shut down on Air Hockey 8-2. My entire family is here. I think there’s 43 of us. My Dad comes from a family of 9 and most of them have kids that have kids too. Fun time with the Bell’s! by @bigstrongfast

The Macho Man is such a legend. He passed away in 2011, he hasn’t wrestled since 2004 and he’s still part of Slim Jim’s marketing campaign. That’s SAVAGE! Macho Man was one of my all time favorited. My Mt Rushmore is Macho Man, Stone Cold, The Hulkster, The Rock because they all transcended wrestling…am I right? by @bigstrongfast

Happy Birthday America!!! I always felt like Bigger Stronger Faster* was a love letter to everything I love about our country. This ending is something I put so much time and effort into with my amazing team and I’m so proud of it so many years later. I think it just says so much. “There’s a clash in America between doing the right thing and being the best. Steroids aren’t the problem they are just another side effect of being American.” Have an amazing 4th…get jacked and tan and win at all cost today! 💪 taken in The Woodlands, Texas by @bigstrongfast

This girl just doesn’t stop impressing and inspiring everyone around her. She saved a woman’s life on the ambulance last week because she didn’t hesitate and executed everything by the book to make sure the patient has a lot more great years with her family. She got an award for Employee of the Month in a department of over 500 people in one of the leading medical cities in the country. I couldn’t be more excited for her and proud of her. She was up at 5am today with a 100lb weight vest on training for her upcoming firefighter physical test. There’s no slack given for women, there’s no DEI. She has to perform the same exact times as the men despite size and weight advantages, but I know she doesn’t even think about it. She’s only concerned about moving up the ladder. I told her on day one of this journey that she would be a fire chief one day if that’s what she wants. I’m just lucky and excited to follow the journey and maybe get on her health insurance 🤪Congratulations Angelita!!!❤️ by @bigstrongfast

I’m incredibly proud of my brother Mad Dog Mike Bell for being posthumously inducted into the MJN Center Wrestling Hall of Fame this weekend.

Mike became a “star” in my film Bigger Stronger Faster* because so many people saw themselves in him. The movie was never just about steroids or sports. It was about the struggle we all have to feel good enough, to fit in, and to matter.

More than anything in the world, Mike wanted to be a professional wrestler.

He played Division I football at the University of Cincinnati and was the first person in our high school’s history to do it. After blowing out his knee, he came back to New York but refused to let the dream die. He drove two hours each way to Connecticut to train with Dr. D David Schultz and chase the life he always imagined for himself.

And he made it.

Mike wrestled in a WWE ring more than 200 times, including Monday Night Raw. Years later, when John Cena came to California to break into wrestling, Mike became his first trainer.

When we were kids, we went to WWF TV tapings at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie. We were there when Hulk Hogan filmed “Real American,” when Big John Studd cut Andre the Giant’s hair, and when Macho Man introduced Miss Elizabeth.

Mike always said, “One day I’m going to wrestle in that ring.”

And he did.

Not only did he wrestle there, he was inducted into that arena’s Hall of Fame. Mad Dog even got beat up two or three times in the same night there too 🤣

Mike inspired Mark and me to lift weights. Without him there is no Bigger Stronger Faster*. He was always ten years ahead of everybody else, whether it was music, nutrition, or life. #acw

He was brilliant, but he struggled deeply with mental health and wanting to feel accepted. Back then, none of us really understood how to help him. That’s a big part of why I care so much today about helping people struggling with addiction, anxiety, depression, and pain.

Mad Dog never became the superstar he dreamed of becoming, but I truly believe his story helped countless people feel less alone.

That means more than any championship belt ever could.

We love you, Mad Dog. We will always be proud of you.

Congratulations. taken in MJN - Majed J. Nesheiwat Convention Center by @bigstrongfast

Honored to share the official Mad Dog Mike Bell MJN Center Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame induction video.

This video was created as a tribute to Mike’s wrestling career and legacy.

Special thanks to The Bell Family for allowing me to use personal footage and clips from the documentary “Bigger, Stronger, Faster*”. Additional footage courtesy of WWE used in honor of Mike Bell’s career and contributions to professional wrestling.

Thank you to Chris Bell, Mark Bell, Tony DeVito, Vik Dalishus, Hale Collins, Aron Stevens (formerly Damien Sandow in WWE), and Mike Bucci (Nova / Simon Dean in WWE) for helping celebrate Mike’s legacy and sharing their memories.

And thank you to the MJN Center and Awesome Championship Wrestling for hosting and helping honor a true Hudson Valley wrestling legend.
