I had a little time between bigger projects recently, and finished up a few pieces to restock some of my favorite shops in Butte. The Small Stuff and Secret Stash boxes are now available at @highlandcreativesupply and the Private: No Entry saw can be found at @workinprogress.butte . Both shops should be getting a few more pieces before end of year gift buying time, hopefully. I love doing small pieces like this for gifts and private commissions too. New to the Uptowner ARTcade! I was hoping to have this done for Friday night’s Art Walk, but ran into some technical difficulties, but I’m happy to say that everything is up and running and The Uptowner is now partially coin-operated. Thanks to @dgmt.photography for gifting me this gumball machine a few years ago. It always pays to hang on to stuff. Each capsule features some small piece of advice or inspiration. Sometimes serious, sometimes funny, but trust the fates to give you what you need at any given time! Fun little gift commissions like this are always so enjoyable. This garden sign I recently finished was for a birthday. What are you doing tomorrow morning?! What you should be doing is joining me on a walking tour of Butte’s warehouse district and looking at ghost signs! This is my second ghost sign tour as part of the @buttearchives Hike Through History project. I had an absolutely blast last year, taking people around the signs of Uptown Butte, so we thought we’d do it again! Meet us at 9am at the Butte High School parking lot on Platinum St, and we will wander from there. Walk will take between 1-2 hours. See you there! by @bigtimelivermore

I’ve got gift certificates now! What’s a better gift for your loved ones than a lil help with a custom sign or address? Available in whatever amount you would like. One of these would make a super housewarming gift, to go towards a gold leaf transom address or plaque, but is also valid for any type of custom art work I make. by @bigtimelivermore

I get the feeling I’ll be processing all of my feelings about @corn.camp for a while, but wanted to get things out while still fresh. I got back yesterday afternoon, after nearly a week of travel, painting, and camaraderie with one of the kindest and talented groups of sign painters I know. I slept a hard 11 hours after getting home to my own bed, but woke up wishing that perhaps I was still in a tent at @warnerfarm1718 and had more fun ahead of me. None of this would have happened without our stellar hosts, @hiredhandsigns and @10thgenfarmer. Jess provided us the support and prompts for the sign painting side of our time, and Dave for the constant supply of amazing, fresh produce from the farm, to keep our bodies going and to fuel our after hours gab sessions and lunch chats. Corn Camp is perhaps a non-traditional sign painting meet: no workshops, no hierarchies, no expensive tickets, and no egos. It is exactly what I want to be a part of in this community, and exactly what I want to aim for in my future attempts at hosting in Butte (keep an eye out for that soon). New friendships were made, and old friendships were strengthened. I flew out after the week, swirling with emotions, but already planning a trip for next year, and coming up with ideas for little gifts to bring with me. I have left completely enamored with the people I got to paint alongside, and refreshed and inspired again for my love of sign painting. taken in Warner Farm by @bigtimelivermore

The newest addition to the Uptowner ARTcade, located in the front space of my workshop, is perfect for you rock hounds out there. Take a Rock, Leave a Rock! It’s also a collaboration with @tempestofjane, she made the friendly rock being, while I painted the box. Big rocks, small rocks, shiny rocks, smooth rocks, bumpy rocks? They all rock to us!
