We are absolutely elated with our new “Shop Dog is In” sign from local sign painter and pal @bigtimelivermore !!

This will hang in our front window so you will always know when Skylark is IN and needing some pets.

A few Polaroids from recent travels. I love meeting new friends and visiting fellow sign shops. Thanks to everyone who took the time to chat and have me in their space! It’s a small world, and it’s always very inspiring and reinvigorating to see work from fellow artists and be welcomed into their creative spaces!

Neon red glowing hair is a fitting end of summer color. Especially when you get to smooch your sweetie @bigtimelivermore, dance your butt off to interstellar music, wear your favorite bright colors, your friends take your picture in the blacklight neon interactive art mural because you literally glow (thanks, @wilde_flower!), and you get to do it all at the smashing inaugural out-of-this-world thing called @mooshfestofficial

It’s feels impossible to capture the magic of Corn Camp in a post - so instead of waxing poetic, all I’ll say is THANK YOU to our generous hosts @hiredhandsigns and @10thgenfarmer - and THANK YOU to my Corn Camp cornspirators! The creativity, collaboration and LOVE is unparalleled, and I’m so happy to call you my sign painting family ❤️🌽❤️

I’m so proud of myself for locking in, and tackling a larger scale project this year - property parking signs! I was even more thrilled when @godzz arrived and riffed on my designs to paint the larger sign. And as we approached the deadline, @loomcitysigns swooped in, paintbrush in hand, and helped me cross the finish line! Corn Camp Collaboration! 🌽❤️😍

I’m already dreaming of next year, and missing you all!

I don’t get a ton of time behind the bar making drinks anymore, but this morning I was covering a shift at our new cafe in 19th and my friend @jobigsky stopped by for a chat and some impromptu photos. Joe’s immensely talented and has a great eye! It was a smoky morning, and the light had kind of an orange glow. It was a good morning for sitting inside with some good music and great coffee. Anyways, I haven’t been posting on here a ton lately because we’ve been crazy busy! The team has been crushing the rush at all the cafes, we put out some new merch over the weekend (website soon), we’ve had some shows at the cafe too. I hope everyone is having a good summer 🙂

Slowly but surely we are moving in! It's the height of both our work schedules, but soon we will start moving presses. We can't wait to invite some print friends over to make stuff in the shop.
