This post is dedicated to my parents, my wife, and my kids for their unwavering and unconditional support throughout my running journey. It is their prayers, love, sacrifice, and encouragement that fuel my growth and achievements. Every little milestone, every marathon, and especially the Sydney Marathon—my 6th marathon—is dedicated to them for always standing by my side.

The journey hasn’t been easy, balancing life and passion, but their constant support has made it possible. Sydney was extra special—not just because I achieved a new PB of 3:15, but because my wife and kids were there cheering for me at 29km and at the finish line. They celebrated every moment, before and after the race, making the experience unforgettable.

Allah has been truly kind in blessing me with the opportunity to travel, run, and celebrate this journey with my family. This post was pending for a week, but today felt right—on our 13th Anniversary. Alhumdulillah.

Happy Anniversary, my partner ❤️ taken in Sydney, Australia by @bilalehsan

𝐓𝐨𝐤𝐲𝐨 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 – 𝐌𝐲 𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫, 𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝟏𝟎+ 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠!

From 110kg to crossing marathon finish lines around the world—it’s been a journey of relentless hard work, dedication, and the unwavering support of some incredible people. As I completed my 5th World Major in Tokyo, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to those who made this possible.

First and foremost, my first-ever coach @umarsherbaz , who helped me when I was at my lowest fitness level, struggling with health issues. He pushed my limits, instilled discipline, and taught me the art of weight training and hard work. Without his help, I wouldn’t have taken the first step.

Then came @metamightytiny Tiny, who took my training to the next level. He adapted my workouts to my condition, guiding me every step of the way. I can’t thank him and @metafitnosis enough for helping me get back in shape, shed weight, and most importantly—feel lighter and stronger.

Running became a serious part of my life around 2020-2021, and everything changed from there. My training revolved around running, and my focus shifted completely. A huge thank you to @dawood.13 who meticulously crafted training programs that aligned with my running goals. From nutrition to hydration to recovery, our endless discussions helped me evolve as a better & fitter person. His knowledge has been invaluable.

I also want to express my gratitude to Muddasir Bhai, who always provided valuable insights into fitness and patiently answered my endless questions. And, of course, @kinetix_gym , for being a part of this running transformation.

This journey wasn’t possible without these incredible individuals and the many others who have supported, encouraged, and motivated me along the way. I am truly indebted to all of you.

As I completed another milestone, I pray that I continue to grow, improve, and become a better version of myself each year. Here’s to the journey, the struggles, and the people who make it all worthwhile. taken in Tokyo, Japan by @bilalehsan
