🚨Hispanic Heritage Month #Bartender 🚨

As Hispanic Heritage Month comes to a close, I wanted to go back and highlight our first Hispanic Heritage Month Featured Bartender, and make sure I collaborate with her and her team this time! 😂🤣

We began with Agustina Sofo @culinary_nut who heads the Bar Program at @elchechicago , which is one of Chicago’s food and drink treasures. Sitting at her bar has always been so much fun for me from Day 1, as she is the definition of hospitality, while showcasing her wit and charm.

A little insight into Agustina upon being asked “how does it feel to work in a place that represents where you are from?”

“It feels Freakin’ cool. I just got goosebumps….
I have been able to just connect more to Argentina in that sense and learn more about my country. It’s weird when people tell you something about your country you didn’t know, especially being an immigrant and leaving at such a young age and wanting to connect to those roots but also living in the U.S. It’s so cool that other people are enjoying my culture and what my country brings to everything. And it’s cool that I got to go to Argentina in February and bartend, which was the pinnacle of my career, that was just so cool that what I didn’t originally choose as a career was what now brought me back to my country to bartend. I got to work there, and it was so amazing!

It’s fun to be messing around with our guests and be like ‘you should sit at the bar, and eat at the bar, because I’m from Argentina and you are going to get the best experience!!!”

Visit her soon and ask for her showcase cocktail, which is so popular it is now on the menu as the “Premium Rum Old Fashioned” featuring #SantaTeresa1796 & #Bacardi 8 #Rye Cask Finish. It’s her delicious take on a Rum Old Fashioned, while using #Jaggery and #Pomegranate .
