POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I’m releasing an EP called “Bodybags” in two weeks on Friday, September 4th — link in bio 🌀🌀
⠀
Tomcat
Shitfaced
Done For (Once More)
Echo
Peabody Creek
⠀
These five songs are heavy truths — of love, of survival, of forgiveness — that I’m letting float down the river. As ambient luminary Grouper put it: “I often picture releasing [music] as trying to secretly sink a heavy object … gently slip it under the surface, watch the ripples for a moment, and steal away.”Field recordings from Wales and Spain and the bush of Aotearoa, fuzzy keys in homes I housesat last year, verses written on napkins, hummings in silos … just as healing is a spiral, I kept returning to these songs for comfort, clarity, confession — to feel heard. I hope they provide that for you too :)

RETURN ADDRESS: an honors sharing of poetry, movement, and music
⠀
@billygreeeene in collaboration with @stelllanz @evan.portzline @ella__fw @violeto_09 @henrytibbettszesbaugh yvie pacatang @fmthorn
⠀
RETURN ADDRESS reimagines the poetry of Greene’s Honors Thesis as a sequence of scores for collaborative movement and music. Distance and queer relationship collide to map where breath and body land in the sprawling intimacies of travel.
