Four weeks in Kaunas came to an end, I packed the red Volvo with sculptures in wooden boxes and drove back to Stockholm in late August.

The sculptures will be part of Mjukt monumentalt motstånd (Soft Monumental Resistance) at @orebrokonsthall , running from September 25 to November 28 — that will be the first time the finished body of work is presented in full.

Thanks to Vaida Vaičiūnaitė at @studio.tyle for the hospitality and guidance — for teaching me so much about clay, firing, high-temperature vs. low-temperature ceramics, showing me all kinds of glazes, and how to fix cracks in sculptures that were simply too big to fail.

And thanks to @culturemoveseurope for believing in and supporting this project.

Rooted in the language and logic of illustration, the exhibition brings together works that move between comics, painting, digital platforms and visual installation. It explores how images can comfort, confront, distort and resist — and how contemporary image-making can be both political and poetic, intimate and expansive.

Two months in residence at @ucrossfoundation Wyoming. 🤍

I’ve never been so full of wonder, so exhausted, so showered in love, or so deeply challenged.

It’s been three weeks since I put my cowboy boots back on the ground here in Sweden, and I’m still trying to figure out how to describe what the hell happened. When people ask me how it was, I mostly just mumble something.

But here is this: I cried my way to the airport. I cried at the gate. I cried on the flight to Denver. I cried until I fell asleep waiting for my connecting flight to DC.

And yes, I am a big crier, and yes, I know how silly it is to write it. But that heavy, ugly public crying doesn’t even come close to embodying the experience.

The jet lag is nothing compared to this emotional hangover. The connections and relationships I had the absolute pleasure of tying, building, and being held by — and how fast I had to say goodbye. What a privilege. What absolute pain.

I will never be the same.

I created a two-page comic for Svenska Kyrkan (the church of Sweden) about feeling lonely in a relationship. The comic explores the fragile space between intimacy and distance, —hesitation, self-censorship, and the struggle of putting certain emotions into words.

The comic is part of Ensamma Tillsammans (Alone Together), an anthology where eight comic artists approach loneliness from different perspectives. The comics will be distributed in schools across Sweden to open up conversations about loneliness among teenagers. You can read the comics at svenskakyrkan.se/sjalkansla

In late November 2025 I applied to this transatlantic art exchange program, an initiative by the EU Delegation to the US, which included an 8 week residency in the US, collaboration with US based peers and a group exhibition in Washington DC.

I believe it was a Sunday, I had dinner with S, my mom and my sister at an Italian restaurant in Stockholm, and I had to go home early to finalize and submit the application.

Later on I was shortlisted, and S and I were googling how long a shortlist really is. In mid January I was named one of the 10 finalists and invited to interview with the jury.

And now I’m here, in Wyoming, at the lovely @ucrossfoundation with boots on the ground for almost two weeks, as part of the 2026 Transatlantic Rising Stars cohort.

Still kind of wild to me.✨

We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome Baby Blue artist Bim Eriksson to the shop for a signing! Baby Blue was one of my favourite titles from this year, a dystopian thriller about celebrating individuality and rebelling against soceital pressures to conform. @bimcamilla will be signing here on Monday 17th November 2025, from 6-7pm. Here’s what publisher @fantagraphics say about the comic:

Set in a not-so-distant future where the State polices people’s emotions, this dystopian graphic novel explores themes of mental health, queer identity, and the dangers of unchecked fascism.

In the not-so-distant future, twenty-something Betty lives in a fascistic society that polices feelings. When her depression causes her to have an emotional episode in public, she is taken to an Orwellian health facility to “fix” her mental illness. There, she meets Berina, a fiery woman who opens her eyes to an alternative reality: The Resistance. If she can navigate a deviant underworld and band together with a queer, ragtag crew of resistance fighters, she just might have a chance to oppose the regime.

The English debut of Swedish comics artist Bim Eriksson, Baby Blue is a haunting dystopian thriller. Drawn in a delightfully twisted, sad girl style, and suffused with pop music and other cultural touchstones, this graphic novel feels fresh and contemporary. Ultimately, a bold and vital tale of queerness, love, rebellion, and the value of being different.
