Salt Flats in Baja Sur at sunset 💎

Unreal 🌀 by @binsky__

Said goodbye to my favorite home ive ever had yesterday. Where I lived when I opened my 1st food truck and then my 1st restaurant. Last home I shared with Coco and Nicky before they died.

All my things in boxes at my friends house. Queso in his new home. Cutting the cord with having a permanent home. I feel more untethered than ever before in my life. Equal parts freeing equal parts trepidation equal parts love equal parts pain

Learning to live with impermanence all over again. Learning to let go again. Grateful for what that chapter of my life gave me and grateful for the grief ~ proof that my big heart still feels

The last thing I did at the house was finish mopping. I walked into my bedroom and saw this large cat paw print outlined in dust that must have been missed on every cleaning under where my bed had been. It’s too big to be Queso’s. And it might be my friends kitties who lived at the house last summer. Or it might be Coco or Nicky’s. Regardless of who’s it was, I spent the next 15 minutes sitting in my empty home crying and laughing next to a dusty paw print and remembering my final years with them 🐾

Thoughts along the road while I head north for a spell. See you soon Colorado and see you in September La Paz 🫶 by @binsky__
