POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
BioPerformance has developed from more than ten years of looking at health and recovery from a whole-body perspective and seeing how much our physical health can influence what we are able to achieve.

It isn’t only for athletes.

It is for the footballer working towards returning to the pitch. The business owner who needs their energy and focus. The young person balancing education with sport or performing. The parent managing everyone else’s commitments and bad moods. And the person recovering from an injury, infection or illness who knows they are not yet back to where they need to be.

Some people need a comprehensive head-to-toe assessment.

Some need more concentrated support over a specific period.

Others need a booster to continue the progress they have already made or what we're best known for - personalised Drops to support them each day.

That is why I have created different ways to access BioPerformance.

Have a look through the carousel and see which one feels most relevant to you.

Ready to find out more? Comment:

ASSESSMENT — for a comprehensive first appointment in or out of the clinic if necessary

ACCELERATE — for a focused programme over one to eight weeks

BOOST — to build on the progress you have already made

DROPS — for personalised daily regulatory support, with no clinic session required

Not sure where to begin? Send a DM, tell me a little about what you need and I’ll help you decide.

And if you've already experienced sessions or drops share here what you got out of it so others can hear your experiences!

Ten years of working with high performers and individuals seeking deeper health and performance insight has led to something I am genuinely excited to share.

At The Holistic Hub we are launching BioPerformance — functional health and performance pathways designed to explore how the body and brain regulate, adapt and perform.

Health is more than symptoms and performance is more than training.

They are about functional capacity, resilience and systems-based understanding that supports people to feel and function at their best.

BioPerformance assessments and pathways focus on functional insight and supportive clinical frameworks for athletes, families and high performers.

With a deeper commitment to helping people unlock potential and navigate complex health and performance challenges with clarity and ease.

I am excited about this next chapter.

You will see:

✔ BioPerformance education
✔ functional performance insights
✔ pathways that go beyond training
✔ supportive learning
✔ clinical transparency

Thank you for being here.

Heartbroken 💔💙💔

Just when you think it couldn't get any worse 😲

I cannot believe that we are in Mexico for my little brother's funeral ⚰

How are we going to adjust to living life without this beloved man in our life? 🥺

To make it all even more painful he died of something I am super passionate about raising awareness of and I did not do enough for him!! 😣

Yes, the distance between London and Mexico did not help for me to offer him a longer term treatment plan but oh my word. I could have done more and for that I will feel so disappointed for a long long time 😞

He had a major brain injury following a car crash in 2009 and he fought with the damaging effects to his mental health for 14 years. This week he lost that battle 💔💔💔

If you haven't seen the movie Concussion with @willsmith I would highly recommend it, I mention it a lot in clinic ⚕ I never imagined that it would actually hit our family in such a tragic way too 😭

I have been in this industry for 8 years and the more I look into it the more studies and links there are. I had only just appreciated my place in this niche recently 🧠

The best I can do in his memory is shout even louder about brain injuries and concussion 🤕

Many people hear me talk about them - now you will hear me share it a lot lot more 💔💔💔

28.04.26, 159 days ago, a day that changed a lot…

A dislocated knee and damaged ACL started a recovery journey that has challenged me mentally and physically and one that I’m still going through, with lots of physio, treatments, patience and most importantly lots of coffee and doggy cuddles.

It’s made me reflect on life, my future and the career I want to build. I’m focused on continuing to work hard, better myself as a coach, as a human and within the content & media world embracing new opportunities, experiences and whatever comes next.

But anyways, in the words of Dory “Just Keep Swimming” 💙⚽️💫

Day 2

I'm just about to board my flight home and it got me thinking about all the checks that happen before a plane takes off. When something is expected to perform at its best, we don't just hope everything is OK.

Yet we do that with ourselves all the time.

We work, train, coach, parent, lead teams, run businesses and keep going, even when we're more tired than usual, recovery is taking longer, sleep or concentration has changed, headaches are creeping in or someone close to us says, “You're not yourself.”

This is part of the WHY behind The HeadStrong Network.

I want us talking more about brain health, head injuries from sport and road traffic collisions, recovery, behaviour, wellbeing and performance. I want to bring together athletes, parents, coaches, clubs, practitioners, professionals and high performers so we can share knowledge, research, experience and start conversations that might otherwise be missed.

After yesterday's post I've already had practitioners and professionals working in football reach out wanting to be involved, which is exactly what I hoped would happen.

My September mission is to find our first 100 Founding Members who believe this conversation matters and want to help shape where HeadStrong goes next.

If that's you, or you know somebody who should be at the table, DM me HEADSTRONG 💙💜

Day 2/30. Let's see where this goes.

1st September - Suicide Prevention Month

I'm posting this from my holiday.

My brother I lost to suicide taught me the importance of taking breaks and creating memories so I'm thinking of him today.

His story is also a huge part of why I started HeadStrong.

My brother had previously sustained a serious head injury in a road traffic collision, and through my work I have become increasingly passionate about raising awareness of the impact head injuries can have long after the initial accident or sporting incident.

We talk a lot about mental health, and rightly so.

But I also want us talking about brain health.

I want more parents, coaches, players, clubs, families and high performers to recognise when somebody isn't themselves.

Changes in mood.
Irritability.
Fatigue.
Poor sleep.
Headaches.
Difficulty concentrating.
Changes in behaviour or personality.
Struggling to cope in ways they didn't before.

These things can have many causes and should never be assumed to be because of a previous head injury. But a history of concussion, sporting head impacts or a road traffic collision is information worth knowing and sharing with the appropriate healthcare professional.

So for Suicide Prevention Month, I'm setting myself a 30 day mission.

I want to find the first 100 Founding Members of The HeadStrong Network.

Coaches. Players. Parents. Clubs. Practitioners. Business leaders. Former players. People affected by road traffic collisions. And people who simply believe this conversation matters.

Over the coming month I'll be sharing much more about what we're building, the awareness and education we want to take into communities and how our Founding Members can help shape what comes next.

If this means something to you, I'd love you to register your interest to be one of the first 100.

And if there's someone in your world who needs to hear about HeadStrong, please send this to them.

Let's get more people talking about the brain behind the person.

DM to register for The HeadStrong Network

Today marks 3 years since my younger brother lost his battle to what we as a family call emotional cancer

Mental Health was something my brothers and I wanted to understand better because we grew up with it affecting our daily lives. So we sought help, from doctors, therapists, and others.

And yes, Arni lost his battle, but does that mean our efforts were in vain?

No, Arni had survived a near fatal car crash in 2009 and it wasn't until 2017 when he came to me we found his brain was different and suffering the long term effects of that car crash causing so many symptoms.

Drs in Mexico confirmed my findings but at that point I hadn't done as much research and work, in fact, I was only 1 year into running my practice.

Here I am marking 10 years this year and launching The HeadStrong Network in Arni's memory so other people know how to spot the signs and symptoms of head injuries after sports or car accidents that could end fatally years after an injury.

I lost my brother, I don't want you to lose yours 🙏🏽

Please share with your brothers and if you want to find out how you can raise awareness to this important mission to reduce mental health by improving brain health, please DM and I can let you know how you can get involved.

What if better mental health starts with better physical health?

This Men's Mental Health Awareness Week, I've been talking about how often we separate the two.

Many of the men I meet aren't telling me they're struggling with their mental health at all.

But they do say:

"I'm exhausted."

"I'm not sleeping properly."

"My recovery isn't what it used to be."

"My gut is all over the place."

Or simply:

"I don't feel right."

Today, a gentleman returned for a follow-up session after working on his liver health. Not what you were expecting to hear, I know.

The first thing he told me?

"I've noticed I've got more energy."

It sounds simple.

But more energy often means more capacity for life.

More patience, resilience, focus and the body actually feels like it's recovering.

Today we'll work on his gut.

A gentle reminder though...

Not every mental health challenge starts with physical health, and improving physical health isn't a replacement for appropriate medical or mental health support.

But often, physical health, brain health and mental health are deeply connected, and sometimes it's worth exploring whether one could be influencing the other.

That's one of the reasons I'm so passionate about the work I do.

Because helping someone feel more like themselves again is about far more than symptoms.

It's about helping them regulate, recover and perform at their best.

Yes, its the World Cup now, but two weeks ago, North London was a sea of red.

Flags flying. Fans singing. Thousands celebrating Arsenal becoming Champions again.

Everyone could see the celebrations.

Not everyone could see the struggles.

As Arsenal fans filled the streets to celebrate becoming champions, I couldn't help but think about the men in that crowd who might be quietly battling stress, anxiety, overwhelm or low mood.

This Men's Mental Health Awareness Week, let's remember that mental health isn't always visible.

And sometimes what looks like a mental health issue can have a much bigger story behind it.

That's why I'm building The HeadStrong Network.

A place for conversations, awareness and support around brain health, mental health and the impact life, sport and injury can have on both.

I lost my brother.

I don't want you to lose yours.

I nearly didn’t attend. There was a moment before the event when I wondered if it would be worth the time away from work, family, and the endless to-do list.

I’m so glad I went.

Not only did I have the privilege of meeting the founder of BNI, Ivan Misner, but also Gilly, who helped establish and grow BNI in the UK.

One of the highlights was purchasing a copy of the book and having it signed by all three authors:
Ivan Misner
Greg Davies - Polaine
Julian Lewis

But if I’m honest, the real value wasn’t the signatures. It was reconnecting with old friends, strengthening existing relationships, and meeting some truly special people for the first time.

Business is often portrayed as strategy, systems and sales.
Yet so much of it still comes down to people.

Conversations.
Relationships.
Trust.

The photos tell the story better than I can.

Thank you to everyone who made the day memorable. Looking forward to staying connected and seeing where the next conversations lead.
