~ Webber Bred ~
•Originally published in the January 1977 issue of Hot Rod magazine. Photos of the Camaro in it’s first stages by Mr Webber himself.

Same text as in the last photo:

-Don & Cindy Webber’s ”Kompressed Kamaro” is as fast as it is frugal. One wouldn’t think that a Jimmy-blown, Illinois-based ’70 Camaro would be a gas pump’s worst enemy. But according to owner/builder Don Webber, by going the Gray Dyer 6-71 route he was able to increase his mpg from 12 to a miserly 16.

Now that’s not too shabby when you consider the 6-71 feeds 427-plus inches (the plus is a .030-inch overbore) of hungry ’n’ thirsty rat. But that’s not all, folks. No way would the part owner of a body shop in Philo, Illinois, not spruce up his piece, so brothers Ronnie and Dennie decided to clean up the little Chevy’s act.

Again, one would think of a wild paint job, but that’s too impractical for a daily-driven machine. Consequently, they applied a metallic green lacquer with subtle flames over the flared genderwells and laid in a set of Cragars and Firestones to give it a ”finished” look. 🏁 by @birdcherry72

Don Webber: ”My ’67 Chevelle daily driver I painted/built in 1980. 432 built to L-88 specs, Muncie 4-speed, 1150 Holley, 5.13 gears and a A&A scoop I mounted on a stock hood”. 🔹

And the last two photos is of his 2nd ’67 Chevelle.▪️

Next up, Webbers blown and flared ’70 Camaro (pretty well known car). 🏁 by @birdcherry72

Fellow Swedes ~ Europe ~ just realesed a new album and that’s worth celebrating! Well in to their 5th decade, keeping the same lineup for most of the time and aging like a fine wine, that’s something few rockbands do! 🤘 #europetheband #sweden 🇸🇪 by @birdcherry72
